FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Tuesday 4/1/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Giannis Antetokounmpo - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups

CeeGee's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Tuesday 4/1/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

Happy Tuesday, RotoBallers! Welcome back to the grind as we dive into a juicy seven-game slate on FanDuel tonight. We’ve got a mix of everything tonight with high-paced showdowns, injury-riddled rosters, and some sneaky value spots begging to be exploited.

With names like Jalen Brunson, Kevin Durant, and Damian Lillard listed as out, and others like Josh Giddey and Jamal Murray questionable, the injury report is shaking things up big time. Keep your eyes glued to updates as tip-off approaches, as these potential late scratches could flip the script.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/1/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:30 p.m. EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

These are the guys I’m locking into my FanDuel lineups early; they’re the foundation you can build around, no matter the format.

Giannis Antetokounmpo - MIL - PF ($12.1K)

The Suns rank 11th in defensive rating, but that number is inflated by Durant’s length and versatility. Without him, their frontcourt of Nick Richards and Royce O'Neale doesn’t have the physicality to match the Greek Freak’s relentless drives and rebounding tenacity. Giannis has been a walking stat sheet stuffer lately, posting 30.7 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 5.9 assists over his last three games, with a usage rate hovering around 35%. That translates to FanDuel consistently outputting north of 55 points, and this matchup could push him into the 60-70 range.

Milwaukee’s 116.3 implied total and a tight 7-point spread against Phoenix suggest a competitive game where Giannis will stay on the floor deep into the fourth. The Suns rank 19th in rebounding rate, so expect him to gobble up boards as the Bucks exploit Durant’s absence. Yes, $12,100 stings the wallet, but his floor is as safe as it gets for cash games, and his ceiling makes him a GPP slate-breaker. You’re paying for dominance here; don’t overthink it.

Karl-Anthony Towns - NYK - C ($10K)

The Knicks are in chaos mode with Brunson, Miles McBride, and Cameron Payne all ruled out, and that’s music to KAT’s ears. New York’s offense will funnel through him against a Philadelphia team that’s a shell of itself as 14.5-point underdogs with a pathetic 104 implied total. The Sixers are trotting out rookie Adem Bona at center, and while he’s scrappy, he’s not ready for Towns’ blend of inside-out scoring and rebounding prowess.

KAT’s been a beast lately, averaging 24.3 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists over his last three, good for around 48-50 FanDuel points per night. Philly ranks 30th in rebounding rate, so Towns could flirt with 15+ boards tonight, and with no Brunson to share the load, his usage should creep toward 30%.

The blowout risk is real with the Knicks favored by 14.5, but Towns typically gets his in the first three quarters, and his 1.5 blocks per game lately add a nice bonus against a Sixers team missing its playmakers. At $10,000, he’s not cheap, but you’re getting a 45-point floor with a shot at 55+ if the game stays closer than expected. He’s a cash game lock and a strong GPP play if you’re stacking the Knicks.

Coby White - CHI - SG/PG ($8.2K)

Coby White has been lighting it up and could be in line for an even bigger night if Giddey’s hip keeps him sidelined. White’s been scorching, averaging 31.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.7 rebounds over his last three games, with his usage spiking to 27% when Giddey’s off the floor. That’s translated to FanDuel outputs pushing 40-45 points, and this matchup against Toronto is ripe for another explosion.

The Raptors, missing RJ Barrett and resting Ochai Agbaji, rank 17th in points allowed to guards and 13th in rebounding rate. The game’s 235.5 total and 101.9 projected pace scream opportunity, and Chicago’s 120.5 implied total suggests they’ll keep the pedal down. White’s dual PG/SG eligibility on FanDuel is a bonus for lineup construction, and at $8,200, he’s wildly underpriced for a guy who could drop 25-30 real points, dish five to seven assists, and snag a steal or two.

If Giddey plays, White’s still a strong play, but his ceiling jumps to 50+ FanDuel points if he’s the lone engine. Monitor that injury report—this could be a slate-defining spot.

Immanuel Quickley - TOR - PG/SG ($7.3K)

Quickley’s stepping into a golden opportunity with Barrett out and Agbaji resting, and this pace-up spot against Chicago has all the makings of a breakout. He’s been rock-solid, averaging 20.0 points, 8.0 assists, and 3.5 rebounds over his last three games, with a usage rate climbing to 29% in Barrett’s absence. That’s yielded FanDuel lines around 35-40 points, and the Bulls’ backcourt defense isn’t scaring anyone.

Toronto’s 115.0 implied total and a tight 5.5-point spread keep Quickley in play for heavy minutes, and his dual-position eligibility at PG/SG gives you the flexibility to fit him alongside other studs. He’s a volume shooter and a playmaker, racking up assists as the Raptors lean on him to create. Chicago’s 21st-ranked rebounding rate also opens the door for a few extra boards, and his recent 1.0 steals per game add a sprinkle of upside.

At $7,300, Quickley’s a steal for cash games with a 35-point floor, and if he catches fire from three, he could flirt with 45 in GPPs. This is the kind of mid-tier value that wins you money.

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

These players might not be the chalkiest options, but their upside and lower ownership could give you the edge in GPPs.

Devin Booker - PHO - SG/SF ($9.5K)

Durant’s ankle injury flips the script for Phoenix, and Booker steps into the spotlight as the unquestioned alpha against Milwaukee. Historically, Booker’s usage soars to 33% without KD, and we’ve seen him deliver 50+ FanDuel-point nights in these spots, like that 52-point outburst against New Orleans last season. He’s been quieter lately, but this is a textbook get-right game. The Bucks rank 13th in points allowed to wings and 20th in three-point percentage allowed, giving Booker a green light to heat up from deep.

The game’s 225.5 total and 7-point spread keep it competitive, and Phoenix’s 109.3 implied total ensures Booker gets his shots; expect 20-25 field goal attempts in this one. Milwaukee’s 23rd-ranked rebounding rate also opens the door for five to seven boards, and his 9.5 assists per game lately add multi-category juice.

At $9,500, he’s a notch below the elite tier, which should keep ownership in check compared to Giannis or Towns. If he drops 35 real points with eight assists and a steal or two, you’re looking at 50-55 FanDuel points, enough to vault you up the GPP leaderboards.

OG Anunoby - NYK - SF/PF ($7.9K)

If you’re looking for a Knicks player that dodges the Karl-Anthony Towns crowd, Anunoby’s your guy. With Brunson, McBride, and Payne out, his usage has spiked to 27% over his last three games, translating to a scorching 30.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per night. That’s pushed his FanDuel output to 40-45 points, and this matchup against a depleted Philly squad sets him up to shine again. The Sixers’ wing defense is in tatters without their full roster, Justin Edwards and Quentin Grimes aren’t containing Anunoby’s mix of slashing and spot-up shooting.

Towns will draw attention inside, leaving OG open for corner threes (39% from deep this year) and cuts to the rim. Philly’s 30th-ranked rebounding rate also boosts his board potential, and his 1.3 steals per game lately add sneaky upside. The 14.5-point spread hints at a blowout risk, but Anunoby’s been efficient enough to pile up stats in three quarters.

At $7,900, he’s priced below his ceiling, and ownership should hover under 10% as the field flocks to KAT or Mikal Bridges. A 40-point FanDuel night is in play, with a shot at 50 if he gets loose, which is perfect for GPP differentiation.

Shaedon Sharpe - POR - SF/SG ($6.7K)

Portland’s backcourt injuries are a goldmine, and Sharpe could cash in big time against Atlanta. Anfernee Simons is questionable with an arm issue, and Scoot Henderson’s out with a concussion, and that thrusts Sharpe into a potential 35-minute role. He’s been rolling, averaging 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists over his last three games, with a usage rate pushing 24%. That delivered FanDuel lines around 35 points, and this matchup amplifies his ceiling.

The Hawks play at the league’s second-fastest pace and rank 13th in rebounding rate, setting up a track meet where Sharpe can exploit their shaky wing defense. Portland's 122.0 implied total and a 238.5 game total scream scoring, and if Simons sits, Sharpe’s usage could climb to 28%, fueling 15-20 shot attempts. He’s hitting 43% from the field and chipping in steals, making him a multi-category threat.

At $6,700, he’s a steal with a 40-point ceiling, yet his ownership should lag behind pricier guards like Trae Young or White. If Simons plays, temper expectations, but if he’s out, Sharpe’s your GPP ticket to the top.

Jakob Poeltl - TOR - C ($7K)

Poeltl isn’t the flashiest name on the slate, but he’s been a double-double machine since Barrett hit the shelf, and this matchup against Chicago could turn him into a GPP hero. Over his last three games, he’s averaged 22.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists, with a usage rate ticking up to 24% in Barrett’s absence. That’s good for 40-45 FanDuel points per night, and the Bulls’ frontcourt isn’t stopping him; they rank 21st in rebounding rate and 17th in points allowed in the paint.

The game’s 235.5 total and 101.9 projected pace promise plenty of possessions, and Toronto’s 115.0 implied total keeps Poeltl in the mix for heavy minutes. He’s a beast on the glass and efficient inside, while his 1.0 blocks per game lately add a defensive boost.

At $7,000, he’s priced like a mid-tier play, but his ceiling rivals centers $2,000 pricier. Ownership will skew toward flashier bigs like Giannis or Jokic, leaving Poeltl as a sneaky 45-point pivot. If he snags 15 boards and drops 20 points, you’re laughing all the way to the GPP cash line.

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

These sub-$6,000 options are perfect for rounding out your roster without sacrificing upside.

Delon Wright - NYK - PG ($4.6K)

The Knicks’ backcourt is a ghost town with Brunson (ankle), McBride (groin), and Payne (ankle) all ruled out, and that catapults Delon Wright into the starting PG role against Philly. In limited minutes this season, he’s averaged a modest 4.8 points, 2.3 assists, and 1.6 rebounds, but over his last three games, he’s bumped that to 2.2 assists and 1.6 boards in just 20.2 minutes. If we project that to 25-30 minutes, numbers like eight to 10 points, four to five assists, and three to four rebounds are totally in reach.

The Sixers’ guard defense is stingy, but their 104 implied total and 14.5-point underdog status suggest they’ll struggle to keep pace, giving Wright plenty of chances to rack up stats in transition. He’s not a volume scorer, but his 1.0 steals per game and low turnover rate keep his floor tidy.

At $4,600, he only needs 18-23 FanDuel points to hit 4x-5x value, and a stat line like 10-5-4 with a steal gets him there easily. He’s a cash game staple to unlock pricier plays, and even in GPPs, a 25-30 point night isn’t out of the question if the Knicks lean on him heavily early. Minutes equal money here; lock him in.

Ryan Rollins - MIL - PG/SG ($5.2K)

Lillard’s absence hands Ryan Rollins the keys to Milwaukee’s offense, and this matchup against Phoenix could turn him into a value stud. Over his last three games, Rollins has averaged 13.8 points, 3.8 assists, and 1.8 rebounds in 26.6 minutes, stepping up as a spark plug with a usage rate around 18%. That’s produced FanDuel outputs of 25-30 points, and the Suns’ backcourt defense, 22nd in points allowed to guards, won’t slow him down.

Phoenix’s 22nd-ranked pace and 109.3 implied total keep this game flowing, and with a 7-point spread, Rollins should see 28-32 minutes running point alongside Giannis. He’s aggressive, averaging 10-12 shot attempts lately, and his 1.5 steals per game add a defensive pop against a Suns team missing Durant’s playmaking. The Bucks’ 116.3 implied total hints at scoring chances galore, and Rollins’ dual PG/SG eligibility gives you lineup wiggle room.

At $5,200, he’s a steal! Scoring 20 points will get him to 4x value, but a ceiling of 35 isn’t crazy if he drops 18-20 real points with five assists and a couple of steals. Ownership might creep up with Lillard out, but he’s still a bargain compared to chalkier mid-tier guards. Plug him in, and watch him pay off.

Donovan Clingan - POR - C ($5.9K)

Portland’s rookie big man is heating up just in time for a juicy spot against Atlanta, and his $5,900 tag makes him a budget-friendly gem. Clingan’s minutes have climbed to 25.4 over his last three games, where he’s averaged 6.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks, good for around 20-25 FanDuel points. The Hawks’ frontcourt, anchored by Onyeka Okongwu, ranks 13th in rebounding rate and 27th in points allowed in the paint, leaving the door open for Clingan to bully his way to 8-10 boards and a few buckets.

If Simons (questionable, arm) joins Henderson (out with concussion) on the sidelines, Portland might lean harder on their bigs, pushing Clingan’s minutes toward 28-30. Atlanta’s lightning-fast pace (second in the league) and 238.5 game total mean more possessions. He’s not a usage hog (14% rate), but his efficiency and rebounding keep his floor safe.

At $5,900, 23-25 points hit 4x value, and a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double with a block or two pushes him to 30-35, GPP-worthy upside at a fraction of the cost of elite centers. He’s a perfect piece to round out a stars-and-scrubs build.
