Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday that even though wide receiver Jayden Reed (foot, shoulder) is back at practice, he has to be given medical clearance to play, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. "The plan is to see where he's at by the end of the week," LaFleur said. Reed has been back at practice for over a week now, but he's still up in the air to be officially activated from Injured Reserve to play in a big Week 14 divisional game against the Chicago Bears. The 25-year-old is recovering from a broken foot that required surgery and a broken collarbone that he suffered back in Week 2. Reed should have a key role eventually in Green Bay's offense, and his nose for the end zone (18 total touchdowns through two-plus seasons) makes him a stash candidate in fantasy football leagues. However, expect Reed to be eased back into the Packers' offense when he's finally activated.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (foot, shoulder) has been out since breaking his collarbone way back in Week 2, but he's been practicing in recent weeks and figures to be activated from Injured Reserve to make his return for a crucial Week 14 divisional clash against the Chicago Bears this weekend. The Packers will most likely ease Reed back onto the field after his long layoff due to a broken collarbone and after having surgery for a broken foot, but the 25-year-old is definitely deserving of being stashed in fantasy leagues for managers who have a shot at competing in the playoffs. Reed is widely available in Yahoo leagues, as he's only rostered in 38% of leagues heading into Week 14. Green Bay has a vast array of wideouts that they rotate on game days, but Reed has scored 18 total touchdowns in 35 career games and should have a key role once he's back up to speed following his injuries.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson gave his Packers fans and his fantasy managers something to cheer about on Thanksgiving Day, as he hauled in four of his 10 targets for 80 yards and a touchdown. The 10 targets were the most he has seen all season, and with the Packers desperately looking for a No. 1 wide receiver to help out sixth-year quarterback Jordan Love, Watson stepped up in a big way in Week 13. Wastson started the season on the Injured Reserve; however, since being activated in Week 8, he has produced 363 receiving yards, hauled in 21 receptions, and scored three touchdowns. As the weeks have progressed, and Watson has continued to ramp up, he has become the clear go-to target for Love with Tucker Kraft (knee) out for the rest of the season. If Watson is on your waiver wire, he is a must-add in all formats and can be started in your lineups moving forward as a low-end WR2/flex play. Outside of a Week 15 matchup with the Denver Broncos, he gets some solid matchups against the Chicago Bears and the Baltimore Ravens for the rest of the fantasy season.--Nicho Roessler

Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave gained 23 yards on his lone reception in Thursday's 31-24 win over their division-rival Detroit Lions. Musgrave was targeted just once on Thanksgiving and has now recorded exactly one reception in three straight outings. It was thought that the third-year pro would assume Green Bay's TE1 duties after teammate Tucker Kraft (knee) went down for the season with a knee injury. However, that hasn't been the case, as TE John FitzPatrick had out-snapped Musgrave in the previous two games before Week 13's win. Moreover, Jordan Love and the offense have leaned even less on the passing game recently, averaging just 25 pass attempts over the last three contests. Despite a decent amount of playing time, Musgrave can be safely avoided for fantasy purposes until the situation around him shifts.--Alex Ciulla

Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (ankle), who was carted off in the Thanksgiving Day win over the Detroit Lions on Thursday, suffered a fractured ankle, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Wyatt's season is expected to be over. The 27-year-old defensive tackle was carted off Ford Field in the fourth quarter and now won't be available the rest of the year. It's a notable loss for a strong Packers defense the rest of the way. The former first-rounder will finish his fourth year in the NFL with 27 tackles (15 solo), four sacks, six tackles for loss, seven QB hits, and two pass breakups in his 10 starts. Karl Brooks (ankle) is also dealing with an injury, so Nazir Stackhouse could see more playing time on the interior of Green Bay's defensive line going forward.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson was limited to four carries on Thursday and was reverted to his regular backup role with Josh Jacobs (knee) returning to the starting lineup after missing Week 12 with his injury. Wilson was expected to be a bit more involved given his production in Week 12, but at the end of the day, Jacobs dominated the carries, seeing 17 to Wilson's four. Meanwhile, neither were involved much in the passing game, with Jacobs hauling in just one reception to Wilson's zero. With Jacobs back in his starting role, Wilson is not providing much fantasy value to managers besides a handcuff to Jacobs. Fantasy managers with Jacobs on their team, it may be wise to roster him as a security blanket; however, if you are rostering Wilson without Jacobs, it may be time to say thank you for your Week 12 services and move on to help your team make a fantasy playoff run.--Nicho Roessler

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson secured four of his 10 targets for 80 yards and a touchdown in a 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. Watson had the longest play of the game with a 51-yard touchdown on a beautiful deep ball from Jordan Love in the third quarter. The 26-year-old continues to thrive since returning in Week 7, totaling 21 receptions for 363 yards and three touchdowns on 34 targets, averaging 12.6 PPR points per game. The 2022 second-round pick has operated as Green Bay's WR1 recently, leading the team in routes run over the past three weeks and clearly being their best downfield threat. Watson could have had a bigger day on Thursday, but had a few tough drops. Still, it was another strong outing for Watson, and he projects favorably for the rest of the season.--Kyle McCarthy

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks posted his best game of the season against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, recording six catches for a team-leading 94 yards and two touchdowns on seven targets. Wicks scored for the first time in 10 games this season, and more than doubled his previous season high of 44 receiving yards, which came back in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders. The six receptions also matched a career high for the 24-year-old wideout and played a key role in Green Bay pulling out the win. After having major drop issues last season, Wicks has only dropped one pass on 41 targets this season and came down with multiple tough catches against the Lions, including a crucial contested 16-yard snag on fourth down to seal the victory with less than two minutes left in the game. Wicks is emerging as a reliable target for quarterback Jordan Love and could continue to see more opportunities moving forward.--Kyle McCarthy

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was masterful in a 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, completing 18 of 30 passes for 234 yards and four touchdowns, while adding five carries for four yards. Love finished the game with a 95.0 QBR, which is the sixth-highest single-game performance by a quarterback this season, per ESPN. After throwing for just two touchdowns in his last four games combined, the 27-year-old doubled that mark on Thursday with the third four-touchdown game of his career and first since Week 6 of last season. Love and the Green Bay passing attack will look to keep things rolling in Week 14 as they have another key divisional game against the division-leading Chicago Bears.--Kyle McCarthy

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden (wrist) has been ruled out for the Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions, according to Lily Zhao of FOX6 News. Golden is inactive for the second straight game after missing Week 12 due to shoulder and wrist injuries. The rookie first-rounder was listed as limited every day in practice this week, but ultimately wasn't ready to go on a short week. Golden last played in Week 11 against the New York Giants, but posted his lowest snap share of the season (33.3%) and recorded just one reception for 24 yards on three targets. He has been buried on Green Bay's depth chart with multiple other capable pass catchers, and the eventual return of Jayden Reed (foot, shoulder) could make the situation even murkier for Golden.--Kyle McCarthy

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (foot, shoulder) won't play on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions, but there's a solid chance that he will be able to return in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears. Reed has been sidelined since Week 2 after suffering a broken collarbone and was listed as limited in practice every day this week. Head coach Matt LaFleur kept the possibility of the 25-year-old returning on Thursday on the table before he was eventually ruled out, and there's hope that he will be activated from injured reserve soon. In the meantime, Reed remains a strong stash option for fantasy managers as he could return to a prominent role in Green Bay's passing attack alongside Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.--Kyle McCarthy

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) will play on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions and feels close to 100%, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Jacobs suffered a bone bruise in his knee in Green Bay's win over the New York Giants in Week 11 and was close to suiting up in Week 12, but with a second game coming up on Thursday, the team held him out, and he should be a full go against the Lions. Emanuel Wilson filled in admirably for the 27-year-old last week, handling 28 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns, but he will return to backup duties with Jacobs back. Jacobs had scored nine touchdowns in his last six games before exiting early against the Giants, and fantasy managers will be happy to plug him back into their lineups in Week 13.--Kyle McCarthy

The Green Bay Packers' defense and special teams unit have their work cut out for them this week as the Packers have a Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions in Week 13. The Packers put together their best fantasy performance of the season in Week 12, with five sacks, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery against the Minnesota Vikings. That kind of performance likely isn't in the cards against the Lions, who, even with Sam LaPorta (back) unlikely to return this season, boast some heavy hitters like Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and quarterback Jared Goff to put it all together on offense. Because of the firepower in this game in Detroit, the Packers are an option to leave out of your fantasy lineups in Week 13.--Kevin Tompkins

Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus matched his best fantasy output of the season in Week 12 and looks to keep that run going when the Packers head to Ford Field to face the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. McManus was successful on all three of his field goal attempts in Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings, making kicks of 32, 30, and 40 yards. Also booting home both extra point attempts, McManus was K10 on the week and could be on the upswing now from a quad injury that's affected him at times this season. With the Packers heading to Detroit for their Week 13 matchup, McManus is a low-end starter for fantasy purposes.--Kevin Tompkins

Green Bay Packers tight end John FitzPatrick has seen his opportunity with the Packers grow as of late, but is still a player to leave out of fantasy lineups when the Packers head to Detroit to take on the Lions on Thanksgiving. FitzPatrick has supplanted Luke Musgrave in terms of snap share and routes over the last two weeks for the Packers. Despite the increased snaps in the 60 percent range in each of the last two weeks for Green Bay, it's only turned into a combined two receptions and 16 yards on two targets. FitzPatrick's role is not as a receiver, so expecting fantasy production out of the Packers' tight end may not be realistic. Leave FitzPatrick off of your fantasy rosters when the Packers play the Lions on Thanksgiving in Week 13.--Kevin Tompkins
