Josh Jacobs Remains Limited Ahead of Week 7 Matchup vs. Cardinals
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (illness) was limited in practice again on Thursday as he works toward being cleared for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Jacobs has handled a heavy workload this season, logging 98 carries for 359 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 3.7 yards per attempt. Although his efficiency has dipped compared to his Pro Bowl 2024 campaign, Jacobs remains the clear lead back in Green Bay's offense, handling the vast majority of touches out of the backfield. The Cardinals present a middle-of-the-pack matchup, allowing 102 rushing yards per game, which ranks 13th in the NFL. Assuming Jacobs suits up, he should continue to see volume-driven RB2 production, though fantasy managers may want to temper expectations if his illness limits his workload heading into Sunday.

Josh Jacobs Limited in Practice on Wednesday
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (illness) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. It sounds like Jacobs was feeling under the weather so the team decided to limit him on Wednesday. This shouldn't be something that impacts his status for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. For now, Jacobs is considered day-to-day and should return to full practice in a day or two. After a slow start, Jacobs has turned it on with four total touchdowns and over 85 rushing yards in each of his last two games. He's a must-start RB1 against the Cardinals in Week 7.

Dontayvion Wicks Returns to Practice, Eyes Week 7 Matchup vs. Cardinals
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday after exiting Week 6 early. The 24-year-old has recorded 12 receptions for 129 yards this season and could be in line for more work if healthy heading into Sunday's matchup with Arizona. However, Wicks may face added competition for targets following Matthew Golden's breakout performance last week. The Packers' passing game draws a favorable matchup against a Cardinals defense ranked 28th against the pass, giving Wicks some deep-league streaming appeal if he's active. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his practice participation as the week progresses. UPDATE: Wicks was limited in Wednesday's practice.

MarShawn Lloyd Getting Closer to Practicing
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) is "getting closer" to returning to practice, but it won't come this week, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. Lloyd has been on Injured Reserve since Week 1. The 24-year-old is eligible to be activated after already missing four games, but he's not quite ready to get back on the practice field. Once the Packers designate him to return from IR, they will have 21 days to officially bring him back to the 53-man active roster. Lloyd will not return in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals, and it's probably unlikely that he'll make his 2025 debut in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, either. The Packers had high hopes for Lloyd when they drafted him in the third round in 2024, but injuries have been the story so far, and he managed to play in only one game last year. When he's ready to return, there's no guarantee he'll leapfrog Emanuel Wilson or Chris Brooks on the RB depth chart behind starter Josh Jacobs.

Josh Jacobs has Been a Utilization Monster This Season
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been a monster contributor for the Packers this season and is looking like not just one of the best running backs in fantasy, but in the NFL as well. Finishing RB2 in Week 4 and RB3 in Week 6, Jacobs has put together two straight weeks of 30 or more fantasy points. What has been the difference? Well, Jacobs has gotten into the end zone twice on the ground on an excellent 4.5 yards per carry. What's helping him achieve this upside is the receiving aspect of Jacobs' game. Over the last three contests, Jacobs has averaged six targets, five receptions, and 57 receiving yards per game, which takes a good fantasy running back and makes him great. Against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, lock Jacobs in as a top-end fantasy RB1.

Romeo Doubs Finding Fantasy Relevance In 2025
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs has been a consistently inconsistent fantasy receiver throughout his career, with spike week games followed by games where he flat out disappears. In a Packers' offense that trends aggressively this season with downfield throws, quarterback Jordan Love has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league in EPA per play and other similar metrics. For fantasy, we haven't seen that materialize to consistent fantasy success, but Doubs has been excellent over the last two games for the Packers. With a combined 17 targets and a 31 percent first-read target rate, Love is utilizing Doubs as his most consistent target through five games, but especially in recent games, as Doubs has had his two best fantasy finishes of the season (WR3 and WR30) in the last two weeks. For fantasy, Doubs has earned WR3 or high-end flex treatment in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Romeo Doubs Continues to Play Lead Role in Packers' Wide Receiver Room
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs recorded five catches for 55 yards on a season-high nine targets in Week 6. Doubs has 18 catches for 234 yards and four touchdowns on 28 targets across five games this season, and 17 of his 28 targets have come in Green Bay's last two games. Most encouragingly for his fantasy outlook, the 25-year-old continues to play the clear WR1 role in his team's offense. Doubs has played at least 85% of the Packers' offensive snaps in each of the team's last three games, and he's the only Packers wideout to play 80% of the snaps in any game this season. Doubs should be rostered in all fantasy leagues with 10 or more teams heading into a Week 7 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

Matthew Golden Starting to Find His Way?
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden led the team with 86 receiving yards in Week 6 against the Bengals and added 16 yards on a pair of rushes as well. The Packers seem to be focused on getting the first-round pick more involved in the offense, and the playmaker is starting to look more comfortable in the NFL in his last few games. Romeo Doubs continues to be a more reliable security blanket for Jordan Love, but Golden brings more deep play potential. How exactly Christian Watson (knee) will fit into the mix once he's ready to come off the PUP list is uncertain. Golden brings enough upside, though, to be a great waiver wire pickup if you need a WR3 or flex play this week against the Cardinals. He hasn't had his elusive "breakout" game yet, but it still seems like it could be just around the corner.

Josh Jacobs Scores Two Touchdowns in Victory Over Cincinnati
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs carried the ball 18 times for 93 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns during Sunday's Week 6 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He also caught all five of his targets for an additional 57 receiving yards. Jacobs now has four rushing touchdowns over his last two games, taking advantage of favorable matchups and showcasing his ability to succeed around the goal line. He also has a total of 14 catches and 172 receiving yards over his last three contests. Jacobs' contributions in the passing game have been quite refreshing after he saw just one target over the first two weeks of the season. Between his pass-catching role and scoring tendencies, Jacobs has re-solidified himself as a solid RB1 option. Fantasy managers should get excited about his favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.

Dontayvion Wicks Questionable to Return in Week 6
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) is currently considered questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Wicks made an early exit in the third quarter due to an ankle issue. Prior to exiting, Wicks hauled in both of his targets for 15 yards. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Packers play it safe and hold Wicks out for the rest of this game. In his absence, Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs, and Malik Heath will be asked to pick up the slack on offense.

Lucas Havrisik Active as Packers' Kicker for Week 6
Green Bay Packers kicker Lucas Havrisik is active for Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. He will handle all field goals and extra points with Brandon McManus (right quadricep) inactive. McManus, listed as questionable, tested his injury pregame, but it was ultimately determined that he won't be able to kick on Sunday afternoon. Havrisik, a fourth-year journeyman kicker, will suit up in his absence. The Arizona product hasn't kicked in a regular-season game since 2023 with the Rams, when he went 15-for-20 on field goals and 19-for-22 on extra points.

Brandon McManus Inactive for Week 6 Against Bengals
Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus (right quadricep) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was listed as questionable after being a limited participant in practice. McManus tested his injury pregame, but it was ultimately determined that he won't be able to kick on Sunday afternoon. Fourth-year journeyman kicker Lucas Havrisik is active and will be responsible for all field goals and extra points against the Bengals. He hasn't kicked in a regular-season game since 2023 with the Rams, when he went 15-for-20 on field goals and 19-for-22 on extra points.

Brandon McManus Questionable to Kick in Week 6
Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus (quadriceps) is listed as questionable to play in Week 6 on Sunday against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals at Lambeau Field, according to Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com. However, despite his questionable status after injuring his quad in practice on Wednesday, McManus told reporters on Thursday that, "I plan on playing." The veteran field-goal kicker felt a "tug" in his quad while warming up for field goals on Wednesday. The 12th-year kicker was limited in all three practices this week. McManus appears to be on the right side of questionable, but fantasy managers will still want to check Sunday's lineup to see if he's active. The 34-year-old will be a little riskier in fantasy lineups because of his injury, but if active, he deserves to be started against a soft Bengals defense. McManus has gone 7-for-9 on field goals and 11-for-12 on extra points in his first four games of 2025.

Consider the Packers D/ST a Top Week 6 Play Against Cincinnati
The Packers' defense and special teams unit are coming off a disappointing performance in Week 4, where they gave up 40 points to the Dallas Cowboys. That resulted in a 40-40 tie, and the team had to sit on that loss for a week as the Packers had their Week 5 bye to get right. Luckily, they host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, who are on their third quarterback this season. It's a familiar signal-caller, as Joe Flacco takes the reins of the Bengals' offense to face the Packers for the second time in three weeks. The Packers are a good bet to get back to basics and dominate a weaker Cincinnati offensive line. At home and well-rested, the Packers are one of the best D/ST plays of the Week 6 slate and should be started universally in fantasy football this week.

Tucker Kraft Is A Solid Start In Week 6
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has had a solid start to his second season as the full-time starting tight end for the Packers and looks to come off the team's Week 5 bye on the right foot when the Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6. In Week 4, Kraft could only manage five targets with five receptions for 56 yards against the Cowboys in Green Bay's 40-40 tie. Kraft has been one of the best pass-catchers on the team this season, but even he is not immune to some of the things that plague the Packers' offense, like a lack of target concentration and pass volume concerns. Those factors bog down the upside case of the top Packers' pass-catchers and render the secondary pass-catchers irrelevant in most weeks. Kraft is a volatile boom-or-bust option with an inconsistent target-earning profile, but Week 6 represents a good matchup against the Bengals. Kraft is a fine start for fantasy purposes.
