Green Bay Packers running back Chris Brooks could possibly see a larger role on offense this weekend. Lead back Josh Jacobs (knee) is uncertain to suit up for the Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. If he sits, Emanuel Wilson is likely to take over as the lead back in Green Bay. That means, Brooks would move up to the primary backup if Jacobs is unavailable. Brooks hasn't played much this season, but that's not surprising for a third string back. He could be worth a look as a desperation flex play if Jacobs is ruled out.--Andy Webb

The Athletic's Matt Schneidman reports that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (foot, shoulder) could return to practice on Wednesday after a two and a half month absence. "I sure as heck hope so," head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday when asked if the team would open anyone's 21-day practice window this week. The Packers will have a better idea about Reed's availability over the next two days. The 25-year-old wideout has been on IR since breaking his collarbone in Week 2, and he's also recovering from surgery on his foot for a Jones fracture. Reed is expected to play again this year, but it's uncertain when that will happen. Even if he returns to practice this week, it won't guarantee his return for a Week 12 divisional matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Reed is rostered in only 35% of Yahoo leagues right now, and he should have a key role in the Packers' offense when he comes back.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson could be set up for a few weeks as the team's top pass-catcher before the potential return of Jayden Reed (collarbone/foot) from IR. In his growing role, he makes a nice addition if he's on the waiver wire in your leagues. The fourth-year receiver from North Dakota State missed the first seven weeks of the season but has played four straight games, logging multiple receptions and over 40 yards in each contest. On Sunday, he scored his first two touchdowns of the year to help power the Packers past the Giants. Watson and the Packers have tough receiver matchups against the Vikings and Lions in the next two weeks, but then he has three favorable matchups in the last four weeks of the fantasy season against the Bears twice and the Ravens.--Zach Thompson

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) has been on Injured Reserve since Week 2 as he rehabs collarbone and foot injuries. However, Reed is expected to return this season and was reportedly ramping up his rehab leading into Green Bay's Week 11 win over the New York Giants. The Packers have yet to open Reed's 21-day activation window, so it may still be a few weeks before he retakes the field. Still, fantasy managers with an open IR spot may want to consider stashing the 25-year-old ahead of his eventual return. Across 17 games in 2024, Reed recorded 55 catches for 857 yards and six touchdowns on 75 targets. When healthy, he'll rejoin a crowded Packers wide receiver room that also includes Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Dontayvion Wicks. The Packers host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12 before traveling to Detroit in Week 13 to take on the Lions on Thanksgiving Day.--Will Brady

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson broke out in a big way during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Watson has been held in check during his first few games, but finally found the end zone this past weekend. The 26-year-old hauled in four of his five targets for 46 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Given the Packers current injuries, Watson could be an interesting waiver wire addition this week. The expectation is that Watson's role on the team will grow as time goes on. He should offer at least flex value for the Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.--Andy Webb

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that running back Josh Jacobs (knee) suffered a knee contusion in the Week 11 win over the New York Giants on Sunday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Injured Reserve is not a consideration, and it's possible that Jacobs could be ready to play in Week 12 on Sunday against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings. There have been reports suggesting that the 27-year-old is week-to-week as well. Jacobs' status for Week 12 will depend on how much he can do in practice this week, so we'll be keeping a close eye on his status from Wednesday through Friday. If he ends up being held out this Sunday, Emanuel Wilson is expected to take over lead-back duties in Green Bay, which will make him a popular short-term waiver-wire pickup this week. Wilson played 71% of the offensive snaps on Sunday against the Giants.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) appears to be ramping up his rehab, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reported last week. Lloyd has not returned to practice with the rest of the team yet, but he was seen working up a sweat on a side field last week. The Packers could really use Lloyd right now after Josh Jacobs suffered a knee injury in Sunday's win that could keep him from playing in Week 12 against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings. The 24-year-old Lloyd remains on Injured Reserve, though, and has played in one game for the Packers due to injuries since he was taken in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft. Green Bay is still holding out hope that he can contribute later this year, but it remains to be seen if that will actually happen. If Jacobs misses any time, Emanuel Wilson should operate as the team's clear lead back.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers standout running back Josh Jacobs' knee is structurally sound, and he won't require surgery, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Jacobs is considered day-to-day, but he could still miss the Week 12 divisional contest against the Minnesota Vikings. ESPN's Rob Demovsky is reporting that Jacobs is "week-to-week." The good news is that Jacobs doesn't have a season-ending knee injury, but fantasy managers should prepare for him to miss at least one game. The 27-year-old has been a must-start RB1 this year in fantasy football, as he has 11 rushing touchdowns in 10 games. Jacobs broke a six-game touchdown streak in the Week 11 win over the New York Giants before injuring his knee. Going into Week 12 action, fantasy managers are going to be rushing to the waiver wire to add Emanuel Wilson, who is fully expected to take over most of Green Bay's backfield work if Jacobs misses time. In deeper leagues, Chris Brooks is worth a look.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson stepped into a lead role in the second half on Sunday in the Packers' 27-20 victory over the New York Giants because Josh Jacobs (knee) was injured and did not return in the second half of the game. Reports have suggested that Jacobs' knee injury is not "season-ending." However, he is expected to get additional testing done on Monday, and it appears likely that Wilson will be in line for RB1 duties in this offense, making him a clear, top-25 running back in fantasy football while Jacobs is out. MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) is also injured, and Wilson is a must-add in all formats, and could be a plug-and-play option for your team as an RB2 or flex spot heading into Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings. Even with Jacobs healthy in 2025, Wilson has 53 rush attempts and 220 rushing yards on the season, and has been playing roughly 24% of the snaps, so he does have some exposure.--Nicho Roessler

It wasn't an amazing statistical day for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love in the 27-20 victory in Week 11 over the New York Giants on Sunday, but he did manage to throw a touchdown pass for the first time since Week 8. Love finished the game going 13-for-24 passing for 174 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions while carrying the ball only twice for seven yards. The 27-year-old was sacked twice for a loss of 12 yards and also tossed a successful two-point conversion. He briefly left the contest due to a left-shoulder injury, but he was able to return and lead the Packers to their sixth win of the season. Love's TDs went to Josh Whyle and Christian Watson, who scored twice on the day. The fifth-year signal-caller has limited turnovers this year, but otherwise, he hasn't been anything special for fantasy managers. Going into a tough Week 12 matchup against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings (possibly without star RB Josh Jacobs), Love will be a midrange QB2 in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson broke out in his fourth game of the season in Sunday's 27-20 win on the road at MetLife Stadium against the New York Giants, catching four of his five targets for 46 yards and his first two touchdowns of the season. Watson didn't make his 2025 debut until Week 8 after tearing the ACL in his knee in the Week 18 regular-season finale last year. In his first three games, he caught eight of his 12 targets for 188 yards and no scores. The 26-year-old scored in the first and fourth quarters in the Week 11 win, with his second TD reception being a contested-catch grab with multiple receivers draped all over him in the end zone. Targets might be harder to come by when Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) returns from Injured Reserve, but for now, Watson should remain a key contributor and big-play specialist in the Packers' offense. Watson will be in play as a WR4/flex with big-play upside in a Week 12 divisional clash against the Minnesota Vikings.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) was forced to exit early during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Jacobs was pulled out in the second quarter due to a knee issue and didn't return. He finished the game with seven carries for 40 yards in the victory. The organization is uncertain of the severity of the injury right now, but doesn't believe it's a season-ending injury. Jacobs is set to undergo further testing on Monday. If he misses time, Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks would stand to gain value. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on Monday. UPDATE: Jacobs will have more tests on his left knee on Monday. He was able to briefly return after jamming his knee into the MetLife Stadium turf in Sunday's 27-20 win before leaving for good. There is optimism that Jacobs will be back soon.--Andy Webb

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur declined to provide additional information on running back Josh Jacobs (knee) following Sunday's Week 11 win over the New York Giants. LaFleur acknowledged that he was "concerned about the welfare" of Jacobs, but he did not comment on the running back's status going forward. Presumably, he'll undergo more testing on Sunday evening or Monday morning. The team could provide an update on Monday, but if they don't, fantasy managers will have to wait until Wednesday for the Packers' first injury report of the week. Jacobs has seven days to get healthy before Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings. If he can't suit up, Emanuel Wilson would take over as the Packers' primary running back.--Andersen Pickard

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 11 contest against the New York Giants. Jacobs exited near the start of the second quarter and was initially listed as questionable before being downgraded to out. He finishes the game with seven carries for 40 yards, plus an uncaught target. Emanuel Wilson has taken over as the Packers' primary running back and will continue to lead the backfield for the duration of Jacobs' absence. The star ball-carrier now has seven days to get healthy before a key divisional matchup against Minnesota. If he can't suit up in Week 12, Wilson would rank as a low-end RB2 with high volume against a strong Vikings run defense.--Andersen Pickard

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) is officially questionable to return to his team's Week 11 matchup against the New York Giants due to a knee injury. The 27-year-old recorded seven carries for 40 yards before being forced to exit the game. If Jacobs is unable to return, Packers running back Emanuel Wilson would likely see the majority of the team's backfield work for the remainder of Week 11. Jacobs' status will be something for fantasy managers to closely monitor until more information about his injury is released.--Will Brady
