The Atlanta Braves are willing to listen to offers for second baseman Ozzie Albies, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports. The Braves would be selling low on the three-time All-Star in what has been the worst season of his career. The switch-hitting Albies has batted a miserable .221/.296/.326 with nine homers, 40 RBI, 43 runs scored, and nine steals in 436 plate appearances. Albies has been especially poor versus lefties, who have held him to a toothless .218/.243/.264 line. Despite his unexpected woes this year, it seems likely Albies' employer (whether it's Atlanta or another team) will exercise his $7 million option for 2026 in the offseason. Otherwise, they'd have to pay the 28-year-old a $4 million buyout and would only save $3 million.--Connor Byrne
