PrizePicks NBA DFS Prop Picks for Fantasy Basketball - Wednesday, May 11th

Giannis Antetokounmpo NBA DFS picks daily fantasy basketball lineups sleepers

Last game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics was enlightening. The Bucks choked away at least a 12-point second-half lead and Al Horford was the lead engineer in the dismantling. Though Boston exposed major weaknesses in the Bucks offense, Milwaukee kept finding ways into the paint through Brook Lopez and the Celtics lack of Robert Williams. Since Boston doesn’t have much say in the matter of size and paint presence, there’s just no way for them to keep Lopez from eventually getting to the rim. That’s just what seven-footers do and that’s the benefit of utilizing them properly. Now, Giannis Antetokounmpo is doing as much as he can, but he’s not spacing the floor and Boston is forcing him to pull up from wherever they can best deflect him. However, the only thing he can do to help his teammates is hit those shots. As for putting the last nail in the Grizzlies coffin, they somewhat already did it to themselves. Not only does your seemingly manipulative handling of the news surrounding a player’s health call into question your integrity as a team, but you are subconsciously admitting defeat knowing you need to remove an entire player to win a game. This is the playoffs and the better team, at the time, usually wins.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 1.

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Al Horford OVER 14.5 Points – As previously mentioned, Al Horford was essential in the Celtics toppling of the Bucks, and after posting a playoff-career-high 30 points, he’s sure to follow that up with something abysmal…but 15-points is still too low for the role he is currently playing. Horford might be older in terms of numbers, but he’s pivotal to the offense and he has the green light as Boston’s third scorer. It’s not going to change as long as he can hit, so assuming he doesn’t follow up a career-best with a career-worst, this is a solidly-low line.

Brook Lopez OVER 11.5 Points – There was a small stint where Brook Lopez wasn’t taking nearly enough shots to be effective. The past two games have been completely different and it’s been nothing more than taking what the defense gives. In this case, the paint is wide open and the Bucks have slowly caught on that Antetokounmpo isn’t the only one allowed to score in the paint. The rebounds and peripheral stats are up in the air because the Celtics defense is still solid elsewhere, but without Robert Williams, Lopez and Antetokounmpo are, literally, going to continue dropping the ball in the rim and cleaning up around it.

Desmond Bane OVER 17.5 Points – Another great bet to attack here is Desmond Bane’s total stats or a fantasy point bet. Only the Pts+Rebs+Asts category is available currently, and with a projected line of 24.5, that’s ideal now that Ja Morant is done for the year. Luckily, that year might only entail one more game. Bane is Memphis’ stud when Morant can’t play, so look to combine this with Jaren Jackson Jr. if you like to engage in single-game bets outside of PrizePicks. The Warriors are locking down the Grizzlies from more than one angle, but an elimination game means excessive shot attempts from the few players that can potentially save them.
