NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes for Martinsville-2 - Xfinity 500 (2025)

Chase Elliott - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR Driver

NASCAR practice speeds, lap averages and notes for the 2025 Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Use the NASCAR stats and data to build DFS lineups on DraftKings. Chase Elliott was fastest.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday afternoon/evening in preparation for the upcoming Xfinity 500 on Sunday afternoon.

The 37-car field was split into two groups for practice, with each group getting 25 minutes on track.

Below you will find the two groups, key notes from the practice session, as well as the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Chase Briscoe - It's a good thing that the No. 19 team locked themselves into Phoenix with the win at Talladega last weekend, because Chase Briscoe noted that they were struggling in practice. He really has nothing to race for this weekend.

Ryan Blaney - As has been the case many times this season, the No. 12 Ford looked really good on the long run in practice. It was mentioned that Blaney seemed to get better as it got later in the day, which could work in his favor on Sunday with the timing of the race.

Christopher Bell - The No. 20 Toyota was stuck in traffic for a bit during practice, which probably caused Bell's slower speeds on the charts. Jeff Burton mentioned that Bell didn't seem very happy with his race car on Saturday.
