FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (6/14/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

donovan mitchell NBA DFS lineup picks daily fantasy basketball betting picks

Juan Carlos Blanco highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 6/14/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We’re set for a pair of Game 4s on Monday’s two-game slate, as the Hawks and Clippers both look to knot their respective series up at 2-2. Atlanta and Los Angeles are heading in opposite directions, however, with the former having lost two straight and the latter having gotten their first win of the series in convincing fashion Saturday.

The postseason always makes things simpler from a DFS perspective because of the considerably narrow rotations and usage that are typically present. That’s certainly true in both series that have games Monday, with certain players on each club clearly established as trustworthy from a fantasy perspective.

ln this article, I will be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward and center on FanDuel, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle and lower end of the salary scale. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Donovan Mitchell, SG – at LAC ($9,700)

Mitchell continues to be the unquestioned tip of the spear for the Jazz, as he’s averaging 49.6 FD points on 50.6 percent shooting, including 47.2 percent from three-point range, over the first three games of the series. Mitchell is averaging a mammoth 27.7 attempts per contest during that span, including a whopping 12.0 attempts from distance. That type of usage keeps him firmly in play once again at a salary that’s arguably still too low for his ceiling, even with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard among those trying to slow him down on the defensive end.

Paul George, SG – vs. UTA ($9,200)

George bounced back from a rough first two games of the series shooting-wise to drain 50.0 percent of his attempts, including 60.0 percent of his three-point tries, in Saturday’s Game 3. The star wing is averaging 43.3 FD points overall in the postseason. With respect to the current series, George is putting up a solid 19.7 shot attempts and making an impressive 45.8 percent of his shots from three-point range. He should certainly be involved heavily again Monday as the Clippers look to even the series before it heads back to Utah, which should put him in good position to deliver a strong return.

Joe Ingles, SG – at LAC ($5,600)

Ingles will once again operate as the starting point guard if Mike Conley (hamstring) is sidelined, and he’s enjoyed plenty of success in that role over the last two games. Ingles is averaging 30.3 FD points on outstanding 61.9 percent shooting, including 60.0 percent from three-point range. He’s also offered solid supplementary production with 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal in the sample, and given the Jazz’s need for offense after only putting up 106 points in Game 3 and the fact the Clippers are giving up the fourth-highest offensive efficiency (28.5 percent) to point guards, Ingles could once again be a very appealing play at his salary.

Also consider: Trae Young ($9,700); Ben Simmons ($8,400); Bogdan Bogdanovic ($6,700)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard- vs. UTA ($11,200)

Leonard may have saved the Clippers’ season for the time being with a 34-point, 12-rebound double-double over 38 minutes in Game 3, a performance that netted 62.9 FD points. The tally was Leonard’s seventh of the postseason with more than 54 FD points, making his current salary reasonable. Kawhi had failed to hit 40 FD points in the first two games of the current series but is still shooting 51.7 percent and taking 20 shot attempts per game against the Jazz thus far, and he should once again sport sky-high usage as the Clippers try knot the series up at 2-2.

Tobias Harris – at ATL ($8,600)

While Joel Embiid’s outstanding performances have rightfully grabbed the majority of the headlines for the Sixers, Harris hasn’t been too far behind. The veteran big is averaging 39.9 FD points on the strength of 21.3 points, 8.0 rebounds 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest in the first three games of the series, and he’s shooting an ultra-efficient 60.4 percent while doing so. Harris now has six straight 20-point efforts in the postseason, and with Atlanta not showing any signs of being able to slow him down, Harris remains a strong play at his salary.

Royce O'Neale, PF – at LAC ($5,800)

O’Neale continued to deliver nicely on his sub-$6K salary in Game 3, posting 26.2 FD points over 35 minutes. The versatile forward is averaging 24.2 FD points over the first three games overall while shooting a solid 47.1 percent, and he continues to do a nice job checking off most boxes on the stat sheet. Having amply demonstrated an ability to consistently generate 4x-5x return on his current salary this postseason – O’Neale is averaging 28 FD points since Game 2 of the first-round series versus the Grizzlies – he’s a solid way to go if paying down at one forward spot.

Also consider: John Collins ($6,600); Bojan Bogdanovic ($5,400)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid – at ATL ($11,200)

Embiid continues to play through his questionable designation and dominate, as he’s posted over 60 FD points in each of the first three games of the series. The big man is averaging 35.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.3 steals across 35.7 minutes thus far against the Hawks, as the which clearly have no answer for him. Assuming he’s cleared to take the floor again Monday, there’s zero reason for hesitation in terms of locking Embiid in if you can float his salary.

Rudy Gobert– at LAC ($8,700)

Gobert had a down game relative to his current salary Saturday, as he posted just 29 FD points over 30 minutes. The big man did manage his fourth straight double-double, however, but he failed to record multiple blocks for the first time in 10 games, leading to the slight downturn in fantasy production. Nevertheless, with the small slate and the scarce amount of options at the position, Gobert remains in play, especially considering he’s eclipsed 40 FD points in four postseason contests already, including a 49 FD-point tally in Game 2 of the current series.

Also consider: Clint Capela ($7,300)
