Elijah Arroyo 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Larger Role In 2026?
Seattle Seahawks second-year man Elijah Arroyo comes from a Miami Hurricanes program that has produced a potpourri of talented tight ends over the past couple decades. The second-round pick from 2025 has the potential to be an every-down player since his has solid blocking skills and is a decent route runner. Arroyo suffered a couple knee injuries during his college career and another during his rookie campaign that cost him the final four games of the regular season, so that is disconcerting. After catching 15 passes for 179 yards and a TD in his first year, Arroyo might be asked to take on a larger role in Seattle's offense this year. Incumbent AJ Barner has been a good red-zone presence in the Seahawks offense and does a lot of things well, but Arroyo could cut into Barner's snaps and targets as the season wears on. Arroyo should probably be left alone in standard league drafts as the most he could be counted on for is 300-400 yards, but in dynasty leagues you could take a flyer on him and hope he blossoms into a fantasy TE2 this year or next.
