Bogdan Guskov Dominated At UFC Abu Dhabi

Bogdan Guskov suffered a fifth-round TKO loss to former light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev in the main event of UFC Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The fight was without a doubt lackluster; the pace was slow, and Guskov was completely outclassed and dominated for most of the fight. It looked like the fight was going to go the distance, but it wasn't until midway through the final round that referee Marc Goddard decided he'd seen enough punches land with no intelligent defense from Guskov. In 22:41, Guskov landed 39 significant strikes. With the loss, Guskov dropped to 18-4-1 as a pro and is now 4-2-1 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
