DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football Saturday Main Slate (10/18/25)

Cade Klubnik - College Football QB Power Rankings, NFL Draft

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday (10/18/25) main slate in Week 8. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We have failed as a society. There are only 11 games on the DraftKings Saturday main slate. Fewer games don't mean less action. Vanderbilt will host LSU as a favorite for the first time since 1947. Arizona heads to Houston looking for an upset. It's the Revivalry in Fort Worth! Georgia Tech heads to Durham to take on Duke. Washington heads to the Big House in a rematch of the 2023 semifinal playoff game. Oklahoma is in South Carolina looking for revenge.

The afternoon kicks may be even better. A&M heads to Fayetteville in the Jerry Jones Bowl. Mississippi heads to Georgia in a top-10 matchup. SMU heads to South Carolina to face Clemson in a rematch of the 2024 ACC Championship Game. Ohio State gets to Jump Around on the Badgers in Madison. We close the main slate in Tempe with Arizona State facing Texas Tech.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the main DraftKings slate on 10/18/25, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers, aiming to highlight one option at each end of the salary scale, from high to low. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Sawyer Robertson, Baylor ($8.9K)

That's right, Robertson leads FBS in passing yards by well over 100 yards. He has at least 300 passing yards in four of six games, with two of those over 400 yards. He has at least two touchdown passes in every game!

Sure, Robertson isn't going to give us much on the ground, but he's a lock for the 300-yard bonus and could have four or more touchdown passes. I'm all about anchoring my lineup with a guy like that.

Josh Hoover, TCU ($8.3K)

Baylor is allowing 444.4 yards per game, which is 120th out of 136 FBS teams. TCU's preferred method of attack is through the air. Hoover is second only to Robertson in passing yards, so we're going to see a duel today.

Even if you don't game stack this, use both quarterbacks. Baylor is 10th in FBS with 58.7% of its plays being pass plays. TCU is 18th at 56.7% Watch for flying objects in Fort Worth!

Will Hammond, Texas Tech ($7.2K)

This is only if Behren Morton ends up missing this game. He has been questionable on each injury report this week after leaving last week's win over Kansas early in the second quarter.

Tech once again showed huge rushing upside against the Jayhawks. He scored on two touchdown runs and finished with 61 rushing yards despite struggling through the air. We'll take the chance at this price. If Morton plays, avoid both of them. Use Gunner Stockton in a good matchup instead.

Darian Mensah, Duke ($6.9K)

Wow, Mensah is too cheap. Sure, he isn't running like he did last year, but Mensah is 7th in FBS with 1,838 passing yards and has only thrown two interceptions. That's half or less of every other QB in front of him. There is huge upside against Georgia Tech at home.

Also consider these QBs:

  • Taylen Green, Arkansas ($9.1K)
  • Marcel Reed, Texas A&M ($8.5K)
  • Cade Klubnik, Clemson ($8K)
  • Gunner Stockton, Georgia ($7.4K)
  • Bryce Underwood, Michigan ($6.7K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Cameron Dickey, Texas Tech ($7.7K)

We know that the Kansas defense is one of the worst in the conference, so don't expect a repeat from Dickey. What we can expect is Dickey to get a little higher share of the backfield carries.

I like this play a lot more if Morton is out, but even if Morton plays, Dickey is solid out of the backfield in the passing game. He has at least 15 DraftKings points in every game this season. We can expect at least that from Dickey again.

Nate Sheppard, Duke ($6.6K)

Anderson Castle still cuts into Sheppard's carries, but Sheppard averages 8.0 yards per attempt. That's a ridiculous number! It should normalize a little at some point, but don't expect that to come here. Georgia Tech allows 180 rushing yards per game, bad enough for 112th in FBS.

Kevorian Barnes, TCU ($4.9K)

TCU is a pass-heavy offense, but I think some of that has had to do with the absence of Barnes. Barnes missed the last two games of September for the Toadies. He has at least 15 touches in every game, with eight receptions out of the backfield. Did I mention that Baylor allows 193.6 rushing yards per game?

Rueben Owens II, Texas A&M ($4.4K)

Much like last week, an injury has opened up a smash spot on the cheap at RB. Abu Sama III went nuts against Colorado. Owens could do the same against Arkansas.

Le'Veon Moss is going to miss multiple weeks, and Owens was also putting up good numbers in limited touches. He has 39 touches in the last two games. Expect another heavy workload at a dream price.

Also consider these RBs:

  • Bryson Washington, Baylor ($8.3K)
  • Adam Randall, Clemson ($6.7K)
  • Kewan Lacy, Mississippi ($6.3K)
  • Tory Blaylock, Oklahoma ($5.3K)
  • Bo Jackson, Ohio State ($5K)
  • Jordan Marshall, Michigan ($4.2K)
  • Kedrick Reescano, Arizona ($3.2K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State ($7.7K)

Signs are pointing to Sam Leavitt playing, which means that Tyson is in a great spot. The Texas Tech defense is solid, but Tyson is such a huge part of this offense that it doesn't matter.

Tyson has 47 of the team's 117 receptions. He has 523 of 1,163 passing yards and seven of the eight touchdowns. You won't find this usage anywhere else.

Eric McAlister, TCU ($6.3K)

There needs to be a federal investigation into why McAlister's price dropped by $500. He has four touchdowns in the last two games and is averaging 108.2 yards per game. This is going to be a high-scoring game. I love McAliser at any price!

Bryant Wesco Jr., Clemson ($5.9K)

Klubnik and Clesmon are back on the right track, and the passing game has a dream matchup here. Only Air Force, Sam Houston, and Oregon State have allowed more passing yards in FBS. Sam Houston and Oregon State have played one game more than SMU.

Clemson should have everything that they want in the passing game in this game. All Clemson receivers are firmly in play.

Amare Thomas, Houston ($4.6K)

The days of paying bottom dollar for Thomas are over. The price vaulted $1.4K this week, and I'll still pay it. Thomas has 15 catches for 331 yards and a touchdown in the last three games alone. Conner Weigman is going to Thomas most of the time when he airs it out recently.

Jordan Hudson, SMU ($3.3K)

Hudson was injured in the East Texas A&M game and missed almost a month. In his three games back, Hudson has 14 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Those are WR1 numbers on this team without the WR1 price.

Also consider these WRs:

  • Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State ($9K)
  • O'Mega Blake, Arkansas ($7K)
  • KC Concepcion, Texas A&M ($6.1K)
  • Cooper Barkate, Duke ($6K)
  • Caleb Douglas, Texas Tech ($5.4K)
  • Trey'Dez Green, LSU ($4.6K)
  • Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt ($4.4K)
  • Vandrevius Jacobs, South Carolina ($3.9K)
  • Isaiah Sategna III, Oklahoma ($3.6K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Stacks

TCU vs. Baylor - Game Stack

The K-State-TCU stack came up a bit short last week. Don't expect a repeat of that, considering that Robertson and Hoover lead FBS in passing yards. The first reaction is going to be to stack both passing games.

While I do admit that a lineup of Robertson, Hoover, McAlister, Michael Trigg, Josh Cameron, and Ed Small looks great, ignoring Kevorian Barnes and Bryson Washington could be a mistake.

Washington's price is prohibitive, so many won't use him. That's a good way to get different. You can add Washington to the other six and still run Kedrick Reescano at the second RB slot.

My favorite option is to run both QB, both RB, McAlister, and Trigg. There's plenty of value to round out your lineup satisfactorily.

Clemson vs. SMU

The easy answer is to run Klubnik with Antonio Williams, Wesco, and T.J. Moore and be done with it. Savvy players will add Adam Randall for every piece of the bomb that Clemson drops on SMU.

Also consider these stacks:

  • Texas A&M
  • Duke (GPP only)
  • Ohio State (GPP only)
