San Diego Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. (hand) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals. There was speculation that Tatis would miss time after getting hit in the hand by a pitch during Thursday's contest. Luckily, the X-rays came back negative and Tatis is back without missing a single game. He probably is still sore, but that's not going to keep Tatis out of the lineup. He'll bat in the leadoff spot and cover right field versus right-hander Michael Lorenzen on Friday.--Andy Webb
