Brian Campbell Set to Defend at John Deere Classic
It's been a poor season for Brian Campbell after gaining access to all the big events via his win here last season. However, much of his career has been comprised of one-off performances that allowed him to win twice in 2025 amid an otherwise poor year. The putter is usually his best performing club in the bag, but he's been a capable iron player as well. There is just such difficulty in nailing down when and where that sort of output will occur. On paper, TPC Deere Run makes sense for the type of field strength and course set up that would work for Campbell's limited strengths, but he is too volatile to trust with much confidence.
