James Conner's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit running back James Conner for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: James Conner was expected to carry the Cardinals without Kyler Murray heading into the season, and he was doing a pretty good job in his first four games, as he was on pace to finish the year with 1352 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.
However, he got hurt and was placed on injured reserve. Fortunately, he and Murray are back, and the duo have looked pretty solid in two weeks. Conner ran for 135 yards on 30 carries against the Falcons and Texans.

This week, he will face the Rams, who have allowed one rushing TD per game this season. Four of these ten TDs have been against QBs, and the Rams have given up the 10th-least fantasy points to RBs (standard format).
However, what's promising for Conner is that he has scored two rushing TDs in three out of his four games against them. In those three weeks, he finished eighth, fourth, and second among the overall RB fantasy scoring leaders respectively. Due to that, Conner could provide solid RB2 value for fantasy managers in this matchup.
