Are Jerry Jeudy, Luther Burden III, Jayden Reed must-add waiver wire pickups for Week 15 fantasy football? Are they breaking out for fantasy football in 2025?
It's Week 15, which is the first week of the fantasy football playoffs in most leagues. Whether you made it in and want to win a championship, or are just looking to avoid your league's last place spot, there's still reason to work the waiver wire.
Even if you're out of the playoffs, it makes sense to try to field a competitive team. There's a unique fun in grabbing good players off waivers just to block playoff teams from getting them.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, Chicago Bears WR Luther Burden III, and Green Bay Packers slot receiver Jayden Reed are among the names you should consider. But should you add these guys to your rosters ahead of Week 15?

It's still hard to trust the Cleveland Browns offense to do much of anything most of the time. And it looks like tight end Harold Fannin Jr. is this team's true No. 1 pass-catcher. But it appears that QB Shedeur Sanders, who started the season as a rookie third-string quarterback, can actually be productive for fantasy football sometimes.
Rookie WR Isaiah Bond has hardly been involved in recent weeks, and it's been Jeudy who's retaken the No. 1 wide receiver role for the team. Last week, he scored 16.6 PPR fantasy points by catching three of his five targets for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Sanders is, in general, quite the accurate quarterback. The problem is that he tends to be very bad under pressure, often drifting in the pocket and taking awful sacks. But against teams that struggle to get pressure on him, like the Tennessee Titans last week, he can do quite well.
Jeudy still only got five targets in a dream game script, so it's hard to trust him in your starting lineups just yet. But he's at least worth stashing on your bench in case he goes on a late-season tear. Sanders is a clear upgrade in terms of upside (and really everything else) over fellow rookie QB Dillon Gabriel.
Luther Burden III Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups

I've written at length about Burden this season. He plays on a crowded offense that has a lot of pass-catching options to distribute the ball to. In Week 15, though, we got a glimpse of what things could look like in a less competitive WR room with Rome Odunze (foot) sidelined with an injury.
While Burden scored 11.0 PPR fantasy points, he still had just six targets. And, of course, he ran less routes than slot WR Olamide Zaccheaus, the bane of Burden managers everywhere. Zaccheaus played 79 percent of the Bears offensive snaps to Burden's 71 percent.

It's becoming an infuriating thing to watch. Burden has made great strides in his route-running ability and genuinely looks electric with the ball in his hands. The Bears lost to the Green Bay Packers in Week 14, and you'd think there would be more urgency to get the ball into the hands of it's best playmaker.
Burden is the most efficient pass-catcher the Bears have, leading the team in yards per route run. He's also its best forcer of missed tackles and gains the most yards after catch per reception. On a per-target basis, he also picks up the most yards. It's odd that they're not feeding him more screens and easy passes.
He could use his post-catch abilities to help them pick up more "free" yards. His lack of involvement still makes him a stash in 12-team leagues. We'll have to hope he gets more usage moving forward, but it might not be until 2026 or later that they unleash him.
Jayden Reed Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 47% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 14-Team Leagues
Reed came back from his broken collarbone and Jones fracture injuries and reclaimed his role as the team's primary slot receiver. He played just 47 percent of the team's offensive snaps and caught all four of his targets for 31 yards. His role seemed somewhat restricted.
Last season, he typically played between 50 and 70 percent of the team's snaps, so it's likely he'll be ramped up a bit in the coming weeks. With tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) out, there are a few more targets to distribute around, at least. But WRs Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks also played a bit less due to their injuries.

Reed is an important piece of the offense, sure. But it's hard to remember a time when quarterback Jordan Love was the Packers starter and a receiver was elite in fantasy when they weren't running hot on touchdowns and benefiting from a major lack of depth.
Green Bay is a run-first, run-heavy team that distributes passes very evenly to its receivers. Wicks, Reed, and WRs Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson have tended to alternate weeks in which they were the most productive. Watson has caught quite a few touchdowns recently, so he's been the highest scorer.
But as Wicks and Golden get healthier, they'll get a bigger piece of the pie. Doubs could easily make a nice comeback there too. Reed is just a stash in 12-team PPR leagues for now, and not one that has a ton of weekly upside.
