Blake Corum Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups

Corum broke out for a career high of 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries during the Rams' Week 14 win over the Arizona Cardinals. It was the most rushing yards in a game all season by a Rams running back and one of the most efficient performances by a running back all season.

There have been 434 instances with a running back recording at least 10 carries in a game this season. Only seven of them came with a yards per carry of 10 or higher, with Corum's 10.67 yards per carry tied for the sixth highest, per Fantasy Points Data Suite. Corum has operated as the primary backup to Kyren Williams this season, but has averaged over 10 touches per game dating back to Week 7. While Williams has still clearly been the RB1 in that time, Corum has proven himself to be an interchangeable player in his place.
Plus, it seems the Rams are limiting Williams' workload late in the season as they gear up for a playoff push. That allows Corum to have some standalone value, and he'd have league-winning upside if Williams were to miss any time. He's arguably the most valuable handcuff in the league and should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
Devin Neal Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 56.1% of ESPN Leagues

New Orleans Saints rookie running back Devin Neal has stepped into a workhorse role with Alvin Kamara (knee) dealing with an MCL sprain. He didn't stand out in his first career NFL start in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins, recording 14 carries for 47 yards with three receptions (three targets) for 22 yards as a receiver.
The rookie sixth-rounder bounced back in Week 14's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 84 total yards and his first career touchdown on 20 touches. Neal isn't an explosive runner, but he's been productive with his limited opportunities and has earned the recognition of head coach Kellen Moore.
#Saints HC Kellen Moore on his excitement to work with RB Devin Neal:

Kamara's initial timeline to return was around two weeks, which would put him on track to play in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers. There hasn't been any update on that yet, so his status in practice this week will be important to monitor. However, Neal should be rostered in all leagues, with him already being used like a workhorse, and the possibility of Kamara missing more time.
Bam Knight Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 43% of ESPN Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 12-Team Leagues
Knight has been the biggest beneficiary of injuries to the Cardinals' top two running backs earlier this season. The Arizona backfield has been a messy one to sort out all season for fantasy managers, and Trey Benson's extended stay on Injured Reserve with a knee injury has kept Knight fantasy relevant despite some glaring drawbacks. He's still splitting snaps and touches with Michael Carter and Emari Demercado, which has capped his ceiling at roughly 10 PPR points per game.
The 24-year-old has been one of the least efficient runners in the league, owning the second-lowest yards per carry (3.35) out of 50 running backs with at least 75 carries. Since Week 6, he owns a 45.8% snap share and has totaled 88 touches, both tops on the team during that span. With Demercado out for the past three games, Knight and Carter have split snaps, but Carter has actually played more in each of the past four games, with the Cardinals consistently in trailing scripts.

Knight profiles as a high-floor, low-ceiling RB3 option moving forward, with Benson's status still an unknown. He is at least involved as a receiver with four straight games of at least three receptions, but he's still a touchdown-dependent option. He's worth adding in 12-team leagues if he's available, but with the fantasy playoffs here and a brutal Week 15 matchup on deck against the Houston Texans, fantasy managers will want to be wary of starting him in that spot.
