Roman Anthony Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball
Anthony has been one of the best hitters in all of Triple-A this season. He is currently slashing .303/.430/.492 with eight home runs, nine doubles, two triples, 23 RBI, and three stolen bases across 53 games. The 21-year-old has also displayed a nice eye at the plate. He has already walked 45 times with only 49 strikeouts.
It has been a strong all-around campaign for Anthony. Although the 21-year-old has been in a rougher stretch at the plate over the past 10 games, he is still putting up solid numbers. The Red Sox's top prospect is batting .250 with two home runs, five RBI, and six walks during this 10-game span.

Therefore, it's only a matter of time until Anthony is up with the major league club. He has above-average hit tools and has the chance to steal double-digit bases this year. The 21-year-old outfielder stole 21 bases across 119 games at Double-A and Triple-A last season.
Roman Anthony Outlook for Fantasy Baseball
No one really knows when Anthony could be up. It could be days or weeks until Boston decides to promote its top prospect. However, there's a strong chance that MLB Pipeline's No. 1 overall prospect will be called up sometime in June.
He continues to see the ball well, and the Red Sox could definitely use his bat in their lineup. Boston has scored above five runs just once over its last eight games. As a result, fantasy managers should expect Anthony to make his MLB debut very soon. That makes him a must-stash in all leagues in Week 10 of the fantasy baseball season.
Alex Cora on Roman Anthony:
“Roman is doing well. He’s getting better. As of now, this is the roster that we have and we are gonna continue to maximize that. We are very proud of the work he’s putting down there. And like I said last week, he’s not knocking at the doors, he’s… pic.twitter.com/odtnOrwALT

Anthony has the potential to make an immediate impact in the majors once he is promoted. He could hit for a solid average and will be a threat on the base paths. So, pick him up now if he is still available in your league. It would be shocking to see the Red Sox call him up and not play him every day in the outfield.
