Tyler Conklin is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for tight ends. Target as a free agent add off waivers for Week 5 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 36% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin had a quiet game in Week 4, catching just four passes for 17 yards. Despite this, he was targeted eight times, was on the field for 68 offensive snaps, and ran 46 routes. Conklin only scored 5.7 PPR fantasy points, but he was on the field and running routes often, which is a good sign.
Tight ends will always have up-and-down games, but when they are on the field for most of the offensive snaps and are running routes rather than blocking, they at least have a chance to succeed. If Conklin keeps up these numbers he could turn into a valuable fantasy asset.
Tyler Conklin was WIDE OPEN downfield but Rodgers checked it down to Wilson.
Could've been a big play#Jets

The Jets offense still needs time to build chemistry. They also played a tough Denver Broncos pass defense in Week 4, and that won't be the case every Sunday. Additionally, the tight end landscape is so unbelievably bleak that a guy getting six and eight targets in two games should be added immediately.
Follow the targets as they're a good indicator of future production. A game with eight or more targets in the future could be much bigger for Conklin.
