Lucas Raymond to Remain Out Friday
Detroit Red Wings right wing Lucas Raymond (upper body) has been ruled out for Friday's clash against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He will be sidelined for a second consecutive game due to an upper-body injury. Red Wings head coach Todd McLellan said Raymond was day-to-day. If he can make progress over the weekend, Raymond may be available for Sunday's matchup against the Edmonton Oilers. Prior to his injury, Raymond was enjoying good start-of-the-season form, recording two goals and three points in three games. With Raymond out, Mason Appleton excelled in a first-line role in Wednesday's meeting with the Florida Panthers, scoring twice in a 4-1 victory.
