Julian Sayin Looking To Build Off Of Strong Debut Season
Ohio State's Julian Sayin strung together a very impressive 2025 season, resulting in him being invited to the Heisman ceremony as a finalist for the trophy. Sayin completed 77% of his passes for 3,610 yards, 32 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, leading the Buckeyes to a perfect 12-0 record in the regular season. However, Sayin's play regressed in the final two games of the season. He struggled against two of the nation's better defenses in Indiana and Miami, turning the ball over three times and taking 10 sacks. Sayin's decision-making and quick release did not look the same that it had all season long when facing top opponents. He will look to rewrite that narrative this upcoming season, as Ohio State faces a much tougher regular season schedule in 2026 than they did in 2025.
