Noah Fant is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for tight ends. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant was a popular deep league sleeper target during the preseason. The veteran has played well this year, averaging 5.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Unfortunately, he has struggled to consistently put up fantasy points because of Seattle’s crowded wide receiver unit.
However, Fant has played well lately. He has 8.5 or more fantasy points in three of the past five games, including back-to-back contests. Furthermore, the veteran tight end has had 63 or more receiving yards in back-to-back games.
Unfortunately, the Seahawks could be without DK Metcalf for a few weeks after the superstar wide receiver suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain against the Atlanta Falcons. While Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett will see an uptick in fantasy value, Fant should also become more fantasy-relevant.

Fantasy players who need help at the tight end position should target Fant off the waiver wire. The only more appealing waiver wire tight end target is Cade Otton after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost their top two wide receivers in Week 7.
