DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football Late Saturday Slate (9/20/25)

USC Trojans - NCAA College Team Logo Stock

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday (9/20/25) late slate in Week 4. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We're closing out Week 4 with a bang. We have four games going on, and some big-time talent out there in good situations.

We have Wyoming heading down to Boulder to take on Colorado. Cal is in San Diego to take on the Aztecs. Michigan State heads to the Coliseum in a late-night game for the Spartans, but a prime-time game for the Trojans. We end out in Hawaii with Fresno State taking on the Warriors.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the late DraftKings slate on 9/20/25, starting at 10:15 pm Eastern. I’ll give multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower end. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, California ($8.2K)

I commend Cal for having the sense to start Sagapolutele from the beginning. It has been less than a month, but he has already turned more heads than Arch Manning, Ty Simpson, and Julian Sayin. It's all because of throws like that one above.

It's not to say that Sagapolutele is free of flaws. He's still a true freshman and sometimes plays like it. However, we can deal with the one turnover in three games. He's only going to get better.

Micah Alejado, Hawaii ($7.8K)

Alejado has been cleared to play after missing the last two games. The Fresno defense has been solid, but Hawaii still passes well over 60% of the time. We saw what Alejado could do in the opener against Stanford. He should be able to duplicate that against Fresno.

Also consider these QBs:

  • Jayden Maiava, USC ($8.6K)
  • Aidan Chiles, Michigan State ($7K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Rayshon Luke, Fresno State ($5.8K)

Fresno has a true committee backfield situation, but Luke is the guy you want. He has 12 receptions in four games. Luke has also scored six touchdowns. Hawaii's run defense has locked down Sam Houston and Portland State, but Stanford and Arizona flattened them.

I like both Fresno backs here, but I prefer Luke due to his work in the passing game and his lower price.

Landon Sims, Hawaii ($4.9K)

Hawaii's rushing attack is one of the worst in college, but he already has 18 receptions in four games. That's a ton of free points. Sims being priced this low is a gift that allows us to spend up at other positions.

Also consider these RBs

  • Waymond Jordan, USC ($7.6K)
  • Lucky Sutton, San Diego State ($5.3K)
  • Kendrick Raphael, California ($4.8K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Makai Lemon, USC ($7.1K)

Wide receiver is the place to spend on this slate. Thankfully, running backs are cheap enough to do just that. Lemon has 311 receiving yards in USC's first three games. If this game manages to stay close, Lemon could have a monster game.

Pofele Ashlock, Hawaii ($6.4K)

Ashlock has led Hawaii in targets in all four games so far. Targets mean more coming from Alejado. No offense to Luke Weaver, but Alejado is more accurate and has a better deep ball. The return of Alejado is going to be huge for Ashlock and the other Hawaii receivers, not to mention the offense as a whole.

Nick Marsh, Michigan State ($5.8K)

The growth of Aidan Chiles as a passer has elevated the value of Marsh. Marsh already has 16 receptions for 194 yards in three games. The three touchdowns are also a nice touch.

The leg injury Marsh suffered against Youngstown State doesn't seem to be an issue. The Spartans are going to be trailing early and often. Throwing the ball around the yard will be the only way for Michigan State to try to keep up. Marsh is going to be at the center of it all.

Jacob De Jesus, California ($5.2K)

I thought De Jesus was nuts when he left UNLV for Cal, but maybe he knew what he was doing. De Jesus has 16 receptions in the first three games, hauling in at least four passes in each game.

The chemistry between Sagapolutele and De Jesus seems to get better by the game. San Diego State's run defense is still a strength. Cal will need to attack the Aztecs through the air. They have the quarterback and the receivers to do it.

Also consider these WRs:

  • Ja'Kobi Lane, USC ($6.3K)
  • Chris Durr Jr., Wyoming ($5.5K)
  • Mason Mini, California ($4.8K)
  • Jacob Bostick, San Diego State ($4.2K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Hawaii

The Fresno defense is pretty good, but that may not matter. Hawaii is back at full strength. Most lineups will go the route of Alejado and Ashlock. I will be adding Landon Sims to mine due to the upside in the passing game.

Running more than three Hawaii players is where it gets difficult. Nick Cenacle and Jackson Harris are both listed as questionable for this contest. A knee injury has kept Cenacle out for the last two games, but he has been medically cleared to play this week.

Despite the questionable tag on Cenacle, it's expected that he will be good to go. Harris also missed Week 3 due to an undisclosed injury. That's the issue. It's undisclosed and may not be disclosed. I love the price on Harris if he's able to play.

Karsyn Pupunu has played well with Cenacle and Harris out. If one of those two is out again, Pupunu is a strong play for the price. He has 13 receptions, even though he hasn't set foot in the end zone yet.

USC

The Michigan State run defense has been outstanding, but the pass defense needs work. The secondary is full of ballhawks, but they aren't always great in coverage.

As with Hawaii, many lineups will focus on Maiava and Lemon. A few more will have Lane for the three-man stack. If you add any other players, it can set your lineup apart.

The workload for the USC backs has been heavy, but the going won't be easy against the Spartans. For the price, I think I'm avoiding Waymond Jordan and going with a much cheaper Eli Sanders.

Sanders gets decent work in the passing game. Using one USC back is not going to be a popular play. Using both can take down a GPP if the USC lines can handle Michigan State.

The dark horse could be tight end Lake McRee. He's sometimes not even the third option in the passing game, but he still has at least two receptions in every game. McRee is cheap enough that he doesn't need much to hit value, and he's always got some touchdown upside in a game where the Spartans will get after Maiava.

Also consider these stacks:

  • California
  • Wyoming (GPP only)
