MLB Home Run Player Prop Bets Today: Best Hitter HR Props (4/5/2026)

Ketel Marte - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB injury News

Koby's best MLB player prop bets for today (4/5/2026). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Josh Naylor, Adolis Garcia, Ketel Marte, and more!

Happy Easter, RotoBallers! Hope everyone has a wonderful day if you do celebrate it. For anyone who doesn't, it's just another Sunday where we can cash in on some home run bets. On Thursday, I hit on Mark Vientos at +700, so hopefully I can lead y'all in the right direction once again and make some dough for the upcoming week!

I've got four home runs I'm liking on deck for us. I don't recommend betting more than four on a day, and the best way to go about it is by using the round-robin method. Hitting two or more of these home run bets can result in some big wins!

Below, you'll read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Sunday, April 5, 2026. We've listed the best odds and the book you can get them at, as of the time of this writing, but still be sure to odds-shop as odds can change throughout the day. Now, let's get to it.

Featured Promo: New Novig users get a $25 purchase match (50% discount up to $25) on your first Novig deposit, and 6 free months of RotoBaller's "Big-4" Premium Pass (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) which includes exclusive tools for Betting, Props, DFS and more! CLAIM IT NOW

MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (4/5/2026)

Here are all the hitters I'll cover for HR props on Sunday, April 5.

Adolis Garcia Phillies Rockies +337 DraftKings
Ketel Marte Diamondbacks Braves +336 DraftKings

Josh Naylor OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+420, FanDuel)

I know what you are thinking. Seriously? Josh Naylor has been horrible to start the season ... you aren't wrong, but he has also been extremely unlucky to start the season. Just last night, he had a home run robbed, as Jo Adell was having one of the best outfield performances I have seen in a long time.

At the moment, Naylor is batting a rough .114, but his xBA is a .271, which goes to show how unlucky he has been. Last season, Naylor hit 20 home runs, 17 of which came off RHP. This came with a Barrel% of 10% and a HardHit% of 45.6%.

Ryan Johnson hasn't had a good start to his career. Last year was a bit rough, and in his season debut, he gave up six runs, including one home run. If trends continue, the lefties have had their way with him as he was hit for a .909 SLG, .455 ISO, 14.3% Barrel%, and a 57.1% HardHit%. Like I said, though, this was in a very limited time, so the numbers look a bit worse than they likely are.

Naylor is going to get out of this slump, and he nearly got one off against Jack Kochanowicz last night. I think this makes for a great spot for him to get his first of the season.

Adolis Garcia OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+337, DraftKings)

This is where we start to get a little more obvious. We have Tomoyuki Sugano on the mound for the Rockies, and we are in Coors Field. This is an absolute recipe for disaster.

The 36-year-old rightie from Japan had a rough year with the Orioles last season, giving up 34 home runs, 20 of which to lefties. He had an over HR/9 of 1.93 in 25 starts last season to go along with a 11.8% Barrel% and a 39.8% HardHit%.

I think the obvious answer is to go with Kyle Schwarber and call it a night. That is not what I'm going to do, though, because what is the fun in that? I'm actually going to go with the hard-hitting righty in Adolis Garcia. Garcia has been crushing the ball this season with an average exit velocity of 97 mph across his last five games against RHP.

He has one home run on the season already, and last season, he had a solid year with 14 home runs against RHP with a 13.3% Barrel% and 46.5% HardHit%. That would be third on the team last season, only behind Schwarber and Bryce Harper.

The wind is calm in Denver right now, and the weather looks great at the moment. This is going to be a big spot for the Phillies, and I wouldn't be surprised to see multiple home runs come off Sugano and their mediocre bullpen. Play Schwarber if you want something easy, but play Garcia if you want to make a little extra dough.

Ketel Marte OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+382, DraftKings)

I have been a big fan of Ketel Marte since he was on the Mariners a while back. I'm glad I finally got him in a good spot to take him to go yard. He is going up against a 35-year-old lefty in Martin Perez. The last few years haven't been kind to Perez, and it seems like he is on the downward slope at this point.

He was only able to play in 10 games last season, but that didn't stop him from giving up five home runs to righties while also giving up a 16% Barrel% and 45.4% HardHit%. He was able to go just over four innings against the Athletics before being pulled in his season debut.

Marte has been hitting the ball hard against lefties so far this season, with an average exit velocity of 95 mph in his last five games against lefties, including a 108.5 mph laser off Tarik Skubal just a few days ago. As I mentioned with Naylor before, Marte is off to a rough start, but he also has been unlucky with an xBA of .286!

It's just a matter of time before things start going right for Marte, and I think it starts here against Perez. The pitch mix between these two bodes well, as Perez primarily throws the changeup and cutter. Both of which Marte hit well last season with an SLG of .540 or better on both pitches.

Perez does throw the sinker really well and quite often, so if he does throw a lot of that, Marte may struggle. If he gets a nice changeup over the plate, though, Marte could be looking at a deep home run here in Arizona.

Ben Rice OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+335, Fanatics)

We are going to finish up here against Chris Paddack. Paddack was a great spot for us to take home runs against last season. He gave up 31 home runs, 18 of which came against lefties.

The lefties are hitting him to the tune of a .492 SLG, .237 ISO, 13.5% Barrel%, and a 46.1% HardHit%. He is coming into this matchup against at least six lefties on the roster; take your pick, and you also have Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton to always target as well.

I'm going with Rice; he has been one of the best hitters for this Yankees team so far this season. He has eight hits, two of which are home runs, and six are XBH. He is crushing the ball with an average exit velocity of just over 98 mph against righties in the last few games.

Last season, Rice hit RHP to the tune of a .504 SLG, .239 ISO, 19.7% Barrel%, and a 56.7% HardHit%. Those numbers are by far the best of any lefty on the team.

He is also getting the slight benefit of the short porch in Yankee Stadium. Rice is hitting the ball extremely hard, and that is a recipe for some big home runs.

Paddack is throwing the changeup and four-seamer for the most part. Rice hits the four-seamer extremely well, but the changeup has been a bit of a rough spot for him. That worries me a little bit, but with how well Rice is seeing the ball at the moment, this is too good a spot to pass up.

Happy Easter, y'all, and let's have a fantastic Sunday!
