Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers - Top Waiver Wire Pickups and Starts for Week 10 (May 27- June 2)

Alec Burleson fantasy baseball prospects rankings draft sleepers

Fantasy baseball hitter streamers and starts for Week 10 of the 2024 season. Thunder Dan Palyo analyzes the top batter streamers to pick up in Week 10.

Once again, we are hunting for hitting help on the waiver wire! The calendar rolls over to June here this week and the need for productive bats only increases as more injuries occur and perhaps your patience is wearing thin with some slumping sluggers on your roster.

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with good matchups and can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions.

In this piece, every week I'll look to find hitters playing in most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller.

What Teams Offer The Most Streaming Value?

This week, we have 10 teams playing seven games between Monday, May 27 and Sunday, June 2:

  • Atlanta (vs. WAS, vs. OAK)
  • Boston (@BAL, vs. DET)
  • Chicago Cubs (@MIL, vs. CIN)
  • Houston (@SEA, vs. MIN)
  • Kansas City (@MIN, vs. SDP)
  • Milwaukee (vs. CHC, vs. CWS)
  • Minnesota (vs. KC, @HOU)
  • New York Mets (vs. LAD, vs. ARI)
  • Seattle (vs. HOU, vs. LAA)
  • Washington (@ATL, @CLE)

Two teams only play FIVE games this week (PIT and TEX).

Park Factors and Matchups: Upgrades and Downgrades

  • Cleveland plays three games at Coors Field  -- UPGRADE
  • Cincinnati plays three games at home and three games at Wrigley -- UPGRADE
  • Atlanta plays all seven games at home vs. Washington and Oakland (two bad pitching staffs, too) -- UPGRADE

Week 10 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40% rostered or lower and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

Lars Nootbaar, OF - STL (38%)

Alec Burleson 1B/OF - STL (35%)

Lars gets one more week in this article, then hopefully, he will be 40% rostered or more next week! Lars legged out a triple last night and swiped a base. He's coming on strong now and should be added in all formats. He's going to have a top-3 spot in the order and should be a solid source of runs, RBI, and AVG with a few home runs and steals sprinkled in there.

Burleson is the big mover this week as he was off a lot of managers' radars until recently. All this dude does is hit and he had two more last night to extend his current hitting streak to 10 games. The Cards are finally out of their early-season funk and they are providing a lot of value for fantasy right now.

Luke Raley, 1B/OF - SEA (34%)

Raley usually sits out against lefties, but he should be in the lineup for at least five of Seattle's seven games this week as they face only two left-handed starters this week. He hasn't done much in his last few starts, but he was red-hot last week and is one of the better power bats that you are going to find on waivers.

Keibert Ruiz, C - WAS (27%)

Luis Garcia Jr., 2B - WAS (27%)

Let's talk about both Nationals at once, shall we? Ruiz is a switch-hitting catcher who is hitting .300 over the last two weeks with a home run and seven RBI. That hot streak has still only raised his average to .186 on the season, but it could be a sign that he's finally ready to start producing as he has in prior seasons. Ruiz hit .251 in 2022 and .260 last year with 18 home runs from the catcher position. He's too good to be bad for long, so grab him now before he becomes a hot commodity.

Garcia's value has fluctuated a lot already this season, but his arrow is pointing up once again. He's collected a hit in four of his last five games with two multi-hit games in that stretch. He gets to hit in the middle of the lineup and is a threat to steal some bases, too. With seven games this week, I'd consider adding one or both of these Washington hitters.

Zach Neto, SS - LAA (19%)

Neto missed one game last week with an injury, but returned to the lineup yesterday and promptly went 2-for-4 at the plate. A lot of sharp analysts were on Neto this offseason as a great value pick, but he struggled at the dish for the first month, causing managers to drop him. But he's been great now for the past month and is giving managers solid contributions in runs, RBI, steals, and even home runs. He now has six on the season - not bad for a middle infielder!

Jake Meyers, OF - HOU (18%)

Meyers has been one of Houston's hottest hitters over the last two weeks, hitting .381 and driving in 12 runs during that stretch. He's up to six home runs on the season and 21 RBI while hitting near the bottom of the order which is pretty impressive. He should continue to play every day until Chas McCormick returns, and he's forcing Houston to keep his bat in the lineup with how well he's hitting right now.

Masyn Winn, SS - STL (15%)

Winn has been featured in several waiver columns by yours truly this season and it appears fantasy managers are finally taking notice of what this kid is doing. He has three multi-hit games in his last four and slugged his second home run of the season this week.

He's hitting .382 over the last two weeks, raising his season-long average up over .300. He's not going to hit many dingers this year, but like Neto, he is an underrated SS right now who should be much more highly rostered with how productive he's been.

Edmundo Sosa, 3B/SS - PHI (11%)

Sosa has done an incredible job filling in for Trea Turner lately. He's 7-for-15 over his last four games with two home runs, four runs scored, and five RBI. His average is up to .333 and he should be considered a strong add in any format while he's getting the chance to play every day in a loaded Phillies lineup.

Nick Gonzales, 2B/SS - PIT (10%)

Gonzales has been a godsend for the Pirates since coming up from Triple-A. The Bucs badly need an infusion of talent on offense, and Gonzales has done nothing but hit since entering the lineup. He's up to .308 now on the season and is in the middle of his second six-game hitting streak. He's got sneaky power in his bat, too, with two home runs already, and he's swiped two bags. Pittsburgh has him hitting as high as fifth in the lineup because he's been so productive.

Fantasy Baseball Deep League Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10% rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Good luck this week and choose those streaming options wisely!
