WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks, Betting Picks (6/28/22): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel, Best Bets

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks and betting picks for 6/28/22. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel and today's best bets.

We've got a pair of WNBA games for you tonight, starting with the Dream visiting the Mystics at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Wings visiting the Lynx an hour later. Atlanta has a lot of injuries to monitor ahead of this one, so keep an eye on how things develop and have a backup plan for the Atlanta player I'll be recommending below.

I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/28/22. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slate locks on 6/28/2022 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Forwards

Elena Delle Donne (Washington Mystics) - vs ATL - DK: $10,200, FD: $8,300

It sounds like the Mystics want to start having Delle Donne available more often, with her rest days limited going forward. That's good for them, because Delle Donne is just such a force when she's on the floor. In her last game, she scored 19 points on 7-for-17 shooting with 10 rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

EDD had 15 points, six rebounds, three blocks and one steal in her last meeting with Atlanta. The Dream defense has been pretty good this season, but with this slate being a little light at forward, I think you have to take the risk against a good defense and play EDD because she's capable of going off against anyone.

Sylvia Fowles (Minnesota Lynx) - vs DAL - DK: $9,600, FD: $7,900

Fowles had a knee issue that many worried would cost her a bunch of time in her final WNBA season, but she ended up returning after two weeks. In her first game back, she had 14 points and 10 rebounds. In her second, she had 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks. Her minutes are now in the mid-20s instead of the high-30s, which lowers her ceiling, but Fowles is still the best traditional center in the WNBA and faces a Wings team that she had 14 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and three steals against earlier this season. Dallas will also be without versatile defender Satou Sabally.

Naz Hillmon (Atlanta Dream) - @ WAS - DK: $5,000, FD: $4,300

This one is risky because Atlanta could have Nia Coffey back, which would make me adjust some things. But Hillmon has seen an increase in her minutes lately and played 24 of them against Connecticut. She was just 1-for-4 from the floor for four points, but added six rebounds, one assist and one steal. Hillmon's shot has been off over the last few games, but she's just a couple of misses per game away from being an intriguing punt play. On a slate like this, I'm willing to make a bet on her going 3-for-5 from the floor and doing enough in other areas to help my lineup.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Guards

Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings) - @ MIN - DK: $11,600, FD: $8,200

With no Allisha Gray, Arike will have the green light to fire away from the floor. With Gray out last game, Arike went 10-for-23 for 25 points and added four rebounds, six assists and two steals. She's scored 20 or more points in five of the last six games, and her nightly volume makes her the highest-ceiling guard on this slate. Find a way to fit Arike into your lineup.

Ariel Atkins (Washington Mystics) - vs ATL - DK: $8,500, FD: $6,800

Atkins is risky because of the Dream defense, but I spent a lot of time trying to find a mid-range guard I liked on this slate. That task didn't go as well as I hoped, so I just landed on Atkins because 1) we know she's good and 2) she's coming off of a strong game, with 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals. She only took eight shots in the last game against Atlanta, but that was also a weird game, as Atkins only needed to play 22 minutes because the Mystics had full control of that one. It was the only game during a six-game stretch that she played fewer than 30 minutes. With a full workload, I think her numbers in that game would have looked a little better.

Tyasha Harris (Dallas Wings) - @ MIN - DK: $4,600, FD: $3,700

With Allisha Gray out, I think there's some potential upside with Harris as she faces a Mystics team that allows the most fantasy points to guards out of all the WNBA teams. Harris played 29 minutes last game with Gray out, scoring eight points on 3-for-6 shooting with one rebound and four assists. If she can pull down a couple more rebounds and take a few more shots, then I think this play with pay off.

WNBA Betting Picks for 6/28/2022

Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.

Yesterday's Results: 0-2

Minnesota Lynx ML

The Wings have been the better team this season, but without Satou Sabally and Allisha Gray, it's going to be tough to slow down the Lynx, as this team has been playing really well offensively lately. In the two games since Sylvia Fowles returned, the team scored 100 points in a win over Phoenix and 85 in a close loss to Chicago. Minnesota outduels Dallas in this one.

Atlanta Dream Spread (+8)

I'll take the Mystics straight up here, but I think Atlanta has a good chance to keep this close. The spread seems to be baking in all the injuries Atlanta has had, but it's sounding like some of those players could be back for this one. If Erica Wheeler and Nia Coffey both play, Atlanta is suddenly a dangerous team again.
