Tony Pollard is Unable to Find Paydirt for A Fourth Straight Week
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard had 10 carries for 56 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9. Pollard also had one catch for 12 yards on two targets. The 28-year-old veteran had a season high of 5.6 yards per carry, cashing in on a run-friendly matchup. Pollard led the Titans' backfield Sunday afternoon, out-touching Tyjae Spears for the fourth time in five weeks. Despite earning more touches, Pollard was unable to score more than eight fantasy points and was outscored by Spears. Pollard is a touchdown-dependent running back who has failed to score a touchdown since Week 5. The Titans are heading into a much-needed bye week, which could bring about changes for their struggling offense. Pollard will be a desperation flex option heading into Week 11 against a stout Texans defense.
