Edge Rusher Hayden Lowe No Longer With Miami Program
Miami head coach Mario Cristobal said that edge rusher Hayden Lowe is no longer with the program. The former five-star recruit in the Class of 2025 was expected to take on a significant role after the loss of first-round NFL Draft picks Rueben Bain Jr. and Akheem Mesidor, but that is obviously no longer the plan. A reason has not been given for his departure. Lowe played in just one game in his freshman campaign before suffering a season-ending undisclosed injury. Now, Missouri transfer Damon Wilson II and Marquise Lightfoot will lead the Canes on the ends of the defensive line. It is unclear what Lowe's future looks like following this announcement.
