Edge Rusher Hayden Lowe No Longer With Miami Program

Miami head coach Mario Cristobal said that edge rusher Hayden Lowe is no longer with the program. The former five-star recruit in the Class of 2025 was expected to take on a significant role after the loss of first-round NFL Draft picks Rueben Bain Jr. and Akheem Mesidor, but that is obviously no longer the plan. A reason has not been given for his departure. Lowe played in just one game in his freshman campaign before suffering a season-ending undisclosed injury. Now, Missouri transfer Damon Wilson II and Marquise Lightfoot will lead the Canes on the ends of the defensive line.
