Is Tyjae Spears in for A Bigger Workload Heading into Week 11?
Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears is coming out of a critical Week 10 bye after delivering a solid performance in his last game. In Week 9, the 24-year-old had seven carries for 26 yards, along with three catches for 36 yards on three targets against the Los Angeles Chargers. Spears has scored more than seven fantasy points in his last four games and could see increased opportunities heading into Week 11 against the Houston Texans. The Titans will want to evaluate what they truly have in their young, explosive running back as they continue rebuilding their offense. The Tulane product will face a tough test against a stout Texans run defense that has allowed the second-fewest rushing yards this season. Spears has relied on his efficiency on the ground, with 5.1 yards per carry, and his involvement in the passing game to remain relevant in fantasy. Despite a difficult matchup, Spears remains a viable flex option in Week 11 due to his big-play ability and involvement in the passing game.
