Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr looked good in the thrilling 41-40 loss against Texas A&M on Saturday night. The redshirt freshman is now 0-2 through his first two career starts, but his poise has to have Fighting Irish fans excited about the future of their program. Carr completed 20-of-32 passes for 293 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the narrow loss. He also took two sacks, resulting in negative 15 yards rushing on the game. With arguably Notre Dame's two toughest games out of the way, Carr has a full season to continue to grow and develop after being thrust into the starting role in two tough matchups to open the season. The young quarterback has shown a lot of promise despite narrowly losing both starts.--Brant Henson - RotoBaller
