Chig Okonkwo Doesn't Carry an Injury Designation Against the Chargers
Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo (foot) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, after being removed from the injury report. Okonkwo was limited in practice early this week with a foot injury, but no longer has an injury designation heading into this weekend. It's good news for the Titans' offense, which has struggled to move the ball through the air this season. Rookie quarterback Cameron Ward has completed 57% of his passes and has had trouble connecting with his pass catchers. Despite seeing over five targets in five of eight games, Okonkwo has been a top-12 tight end once and has yet to score a touchdown. The road doesn't get any easier this week, facing the Chargers' defense that has allowed the seventh fewest passing yards and the third fewest passing touchdowns. In a tough matchup, Okonkwo is a touchdown-dependent fantasy option and comes in as TE28 in the latest RotoBaller rankings for Week 9.
