Can Tony Pollard Produce in A Difficult Week 11 Matchup vs. the Texans?
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard led the Titans' backfield in touches in their Week 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 28-year-old veteran had 10 carries for 56 yards, along with one catch for 12 yards on two targets. Since arriving in Tennessee, Pollard has been unable to regain his explosiveness on the ground, rushing for a below-league-average 4.0 yards per carry this season. Coming out of a critical bye week, the Titans may look to feature the younger, more explosive Tyjae Spears, who has averaged 5.1 yards per carry. The Titans will start to shift their attention to the future of the offense and evaluate their younger players during this rebuild season. In Week 11, Pollard will face a stout run defense in the Houston Texans, that have allowed the second fewest rushing yards this season. In a potential reduced role and difficult matchup, Pollard will remain a flex option in deeper leagues heading into Week 11.
