Cameron Ward Struggles in Crushing Loss to the Chargers
Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cameron Ward went 12-for-21 for 145 yards with zero touchdowns in the crushing 27-20 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Ward also had two carries for six yards on the ground. The 23-year-old first overall pick struggled to find his rhythm in the passing game, completing only 57 percent of his passes. This marked the fourth time this season that Ward was unable to throw a touchdown and the third game in which the offense failed to score a touchdown. However, Ward did manage to avoid any turnovers for the first time since Week 2, breaking a six-game turnover streak. The Titans are heading into a much-needed bye week that could reset the offense. Ward will once again be a QB3 in fantasy in a divisional game in Week 11 against a top-ranked Texans defense.
