Josh Jacobs fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 4 (2024). Should you start or sit Josh Jacobs for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB13
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is the RB28 over the first three weeks, averaging 9.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, the veteran running back has been productive, especially given the team’s circumstances.
Jacobs has averaged 4.5 yards per rushing attempt this season, totaling 11.4 or more fantasy points in two games. The former Alabama star hasn’t been better for fantasy players because of a lack of touchdowns. However, he is prime for positive touchdown regression over the next few weeks.
Josh Jacobs and Jahmyr Gibbs have been very unlucky in the TD department so far. Both are top-15 in rush yards over expected, too. Just hasn't happened in the red zone. Regression is coming. pic.twitter.com/lcsrQBNCsa

Furthermore, Jacobs should see less attention from opposing defenses once Jordan Love is back in the lineup. The franchise quarterback will likely return on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Meanwhile, the Vikings have surrendered 15.1 fantasy points per game to running backs, the sixth-fewest in the NFL. Yet, fantasy players should start Jacobs as a high-end RB2, especially if Love is back under center.
