With the NFL Draft behind us, it is time to turn our attention to the Dynasty fantasy football leagues that never rest. Like the quarterback market, dynasty football is ever-changing, with new wrinkles being thrown at us, constantly changing the received value of the quarterback position.
Here are several quarterbacks in dynasty football that have seen a shift in their market value post-NFL Draft.

Dynasty Risers
Drake Maye, New England Patriots
You want to know how to win at the quarterback position. You give them protection and options that they can count on.
In free agency, New England added Stefon Diggs, who is coming off a serious injury and has already become the trusted target Drake Maye never had last season. Before Diggs's injury-shortened 2024 season, Diggs had produced six consecutive 1000-yard, 90-plus reception seasons.

Outside of Diggs, New England added protection along the offensive line with the signing of Morgan Moses and Garrett Bradbury, who will start immediately at right tackle and center.
Free agency would have been enough to get excited about, considering that during Weeks 6-17, Maye averaged 17.2 fantasy points per game, ran for 37.2 yards per contest, and his 13 highlight throws over that period were tied for the most.
However, this Patriots draft class signifies a major cultural change after the Patriots added Will Campbell, who will start at left tackle and anchor that offensive line along with Jared Wilson, who was considered the top center in the draft. TreVeyon Henderson is a true three-down back who is not only explosive but the best back in the draft when talking about pass protection.
Finally, Kyle Williams will slot in next to Diggs and DeMario Douglas as a viable third option in the passing game, coming off a 70-reception, 1,198 receiving yard Senior season at Washington State.
With these offseason moves, Maye must be considered a top-8 dynasty quarterback asset.
C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
Considering the start to the Houston Texans' offseason, one that included the departures of Laremy Tunsil, Shaq Mason, and Kenyon Green along an offensive line that had allowed 54 sacks last season, fourth-most, Houston did an excellent job rebuilding on the fly.
Houston, first, rebuilt inside the trenches, signing Cam Robinson, Trent Brown, and Laken Tomlinson to solidify their tackle and guard positions. Then they replaced Diggs with Christian Kirk, giving C.J. Stroud a secondary option in the passing game until Tank Dell returns to action. If Dell can't return, Houston added a pair of Iowa State products in Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel, who can make up for any loss of production.
Houston's most notable problems last season were the offensive line and the injuries throughout the season at the wide receiver position, both of which look to have been addressed. If Stroud has protection, with his new arsenal of weapons, he could once again ascend to the top of the quarterback dynasty rankings. Stroud is only one season removed from a top 10 fantasy points per game season, in which he averaged 18.7 fantasy points per game in his rookie year.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mayfield turned 30 in April, and by quarterback standards, that's still relatively young, especially for a quarterback who has recently found a new lease on life in Tampa Bay after back-to-back top-10 fantasy finishes, including a top-5 finish last season where he averaged 22.4 fantasy points per game.
Mike Evans remains a constant, the focal point of the Buccaneers' passing game. Chris Godwin is set to return after missing 10 games last season due to injury. Before Godwin's season concluded, the Bucs receiver was tied with Ja'Marr Chase, averaging a league-best 19.7 fantasy points per game. After Godwin's injury, the Buccaneers got a sneak peek at what Jalen McMillan was capable of, as his eight touchdown grabs were second only to Evans's.
You'd think Mayfield would be content with his options at the ready, and he probably is. Still, management deemed it necessary to add Ohio State's all-time leading receiver, Emeka Egbuka, along with Tez Johnson. Egbuka gives Mayfield a third read, especially down in the red zone, where he will create mismatches all season.
With the additions to this Buccaneers offense, Mayfield is poised, once again, to finish among the top 12 quarterbacks in fantasy.
Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
All the talk pre-draft was about how the Panthers would select Jalon Walker and focus on rebuilding their defense through the draft. That conversation lasted eight picks as the Panthers stepped to the podium and selected Tetairoa McMillan out of Arizona. McMillan adds an Alpha presence to the Panthers' wide receiver room, coming off 2,721 receiving yards over the last two seasons with mediocre quarterback play.
Adam Thielen and the newly signed Hunter Renfrow add insurance underneath, but McMillan erases mistakes and will turn 50/50 balls into 80/20. Dave Canales is a quarterback whisperer. Despite being benched at times last season, Young would finish strong. After the Panthers' Week 11 bye, Young would average 18.6 fantasy points per game and finish as the QB9 from Weeks 12-17.

A QB1 finish in 2025 may come as a shock, but it's not out of the range of possibilities for Young this season.
Dynasty Fallers
Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts
The fall of Anthony Richardson needs to be studied. It's not quite there with the fall from grace which JaMarcus Russell experienced, but considering the hype, Richardson entered the league, it's not too far off either.
Indianapolis did make some moves at the draft, most notably the addition of Tyler Warren, the Penn State tight end whose 104 receptions were the second-most in the nation last year and whose 1,233 receiving yards trailed only Nick Nash (San Jose State) and Harold Fannin Jr. (Bowling Green). Warren, Michael Pittman Jr., and Josh Downs form a formidable trio of pass catchers for the Colts. However, Richardson is far from guaranteed the job come Week 1.
Indianapolis needed insurance, considering Richardson's recent injury history, so it added a veteran in Daniel Jones in free agency and a rookie in Riley Leonard, who recently took Notre Dame back to the College National Championship game. Whoever wins the quarterback competition will be lining up behind an offensive line that took a couple of hits, as both Ryan Kelly and Will Fries vacated their roles during the free agency frenzy.

Richardson is still a raw prospect who has taken less than 500 snaps since high school. The traits are all there, but is the patience and time still on is side?
Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns
Shedeur Sanders' father said it best: "If I am a young quarterback, there ain't no way I'm going to Cleveland. I would pull an Eli Manning if possible." Unfortunately, when you are selected in the fifth round, the leverage to pull a Manning becomes increasingly more difficult. That said, respect needs to be given to how Sanders has embraced the situation.
If Sanders had been the Browns' first or second-round selection, this whole situation would be looked upon a little differently. Cleveland has some excellent offensive weapons, but that quarterback room is crowded with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and third-round selection Dillon Gabriel.
While Sanders has seen his value take a hit, he is also a prospect worth taking a shot on. Pickett hasn't shown anything thus far early in his career, Flacco is an aging vet, and Gabriel has red flags regarding his size. Sanders has some work to do, but he is arguably the most talented quarterback on the Browns' depth chart and has some young weapons in Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin Jr. that he can mature with.
Russell Wilson & Jameis Winston, New York Giants
It was bad enough when it was just Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Tommy DeVito competing for the starting quarterback job. However, New York made a splash in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft, selecting Abdul Carter with their first selection and then trading back into the first to select Jaxson Dart out of Mississippi.
We knew that Wilson and Winston were bridge quarterbacks at best, but when the Giants passed on a quarterback with that first pick, many thought we'd be waiting until 2026 until the Giants' franchise quarterback would take over under center. That may not necessarily be true, as Dart may yield to the veteran duo early, but Dart may take over at some point this season after seeing some of Wilson's struggles in Pittsburgh last year.
Dart possesses Wilson's mobility and the gunslinger mentality Winston has made famous throughout his career. Given the Giants' young core of Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Cam Skattebo, Dart is set up for success early on, potentially making the veteran quarterbacks obsolete before the calendar changes.
