CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/14/25)

Johni Broome - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks - icon rotoballer

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/14/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We are into the meat of conference tournaments. Of course, with these mega-conferences, we still have four games per day in some of these conferences. It makes for a busy Friday. It's a little less busy in the afternoon, but there are marquee matchups across the board. The madness is already here. Texas likely punched another SEC ticket to the dance yesterday. They can remove all doubt today.

We've got some big names and some great matchups today. We'll go through all of those for each slate. We'll give you the core pieces to build a cash or GPP lineup. Then, we'll have some value plays to make it all fit. And for you Ricky Bobby types, we'll give you guys with a great ceiling with a low floor because, "If you ain't first, you're last."

Here are my picks across all CBB DFS slates on Friday, March 14, with the main slate starting at noon EDT on DraftKings. The late slate starts at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

Today's Main Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Tulane vs. Florida Atlantic

Memphis frontcourt vs. Wichita State

Florida Atlantic guards vs. Tulane

Core Pieces:

PJ Haggerty, Memphis ($9.4K)

Memphis begins its run for a 4-seed in the NCAA Tournament today. Wichita State was the last team to beat Memphis, on February 16. Haggerty still had 37.5 DraftKings points in that game. He hasn't been under 29 DraftKings points since January 30. That kind of consistency is worth paying for.

Rowan Brumbaugh, Tulane ($9.2K)

Brumbaugh has been nearly as consistent as Haggerty. UTSA was the last team to hold him under 30 DraftKings points (on February 5). His ceiling isn't as high as Haggerty's, but Brumbaugh might be more consistent.

Gregg Glenn III, Tulane ($6.1K)

There isn't a better deal on the early slate than Glenn. He has at least 24 DraftKings points in five straight games. On top of that, he was at his best against Florida Atlantic in the first meeting. Glenn put up 37 DK points in 32 minutes in that game. His recent production and history against FAU suggest a strong game coming from Glenn today.

Value Pieces:

Moussa Cisse, Memphis ($5.1K)

In one of the more bizarre stats of the season, Cisse has scored more DraftKings points against Wichita State than both Nick Jourdain and Dain Dainja. Dainja fouled out of both games, and Jourdain was mostly ineffective.

That allowed Cisse to play 45 minutes over the two games. He put up 43.5 DraftKings points in the loss to Wichita State in 29 minutes, which was by far his best game of the season. He's priced right for you GPP players who want to take a shot at him doing it again.

Aday Mara, UCLA ($4.8K)

Mara doesn't play a lot of minutes, but he's a terror when he's in there. He has 54.5 DraftKings points over the last two games. Mara's 31.75 DK points against Wisconsin in the first meeting was his third-highest total of the season.

Dylan Andrews, UCLA ($4.2K)

For those of you who are cash game players, Sebastian Mack is probably a better play for that format. You want Andrews in GPP formats. He played a lot of minutes and his ceiling is in the 30s. Andrews put up 25.75 DK points in the first meeting with Wisconsin. That would be a dream come true at this price.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Johni Broome, Auburn ($11K)

Broome always has slate-breaking potential, doesn't he? It feels like it. He rebounded from bad games against Kentucky and A&M to nuke Bama for 65 DraftKings points in the regular season finale. It was his second game over 60 in the last five games. No one else has that ceiling.

Jase Richardson, Michigan State ($7.8K)

Richardson has done better with consistency lately, putting up at least 25 DraftKings points in five straight games. He only hit that mark in one of the six games before that. Still, this is a great spot for Richardson. He put up 38.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Oregon. That was his best game of the season.

Chad Baker-Mazara, Auburn ($7.3K)

Baker-Mazara put up 34.75 DraftKings points against Mississippi on February 26. That was his highest total since the Purdue game back on December 21. He put up 28 DK points in the first meeting with Mississippi, so expect Baker-Mazara to terrorize Ole Miss again.

Today's Late Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Duke wings vs. North Carolina

Kentucky vs. Alabama

Florida forwards vs. Missouri

Alabama forwards vs. Kentucky

Core Pieces:

Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($11K)

Kalkbrenner put up his second straight game of over 50 DraftKings points in the first round. Creighton split with UConn this year (and should have won both meetings). Kalkbrenner put up 76.25 DraftKings points in 79 minutes in those two games. Lock him in again.

Kadary Richmond, St. John's ($9.6K)

I always rave about Richmond's consistency and his all-around game making him a great DFS target. That is especially true today. Richmond was at his best against Marquette this season. He put up 102.75 DraftKings points in 79 minutes against the Golden Eagles this year. Richmond is a great target who will have a lower roster percentage.

Kon Knueppel, Duke ($8.1K)

Knueppel took over for Duke after Cooper Flagg's nasty ankle injury. Flagg will be out today. Knueppel put up 52.75 DraftKings points against the Bees yesterday, thanks to Flagg only playing 12 minutes. That was by far his best game of the season. That ceiling is just as high against Carolina.

Ven-Allen Lubin, North Carolina ($6.8K)

We saw flashes of this last year at Notre Dame. The Heels are finally letting Lubin cook. He has at least 18 DraftKings points in seven straight games. He has topped 30 in each of the last two games. Lubin was solid against Duke in the last meeting. Don't expect a ceiling game, but he should be comfortably in the 20s again.

Value Pieces:

Chase Ross, Marquette ($5K)

Ross hasn't been under double figures in DraftKings points since December 21 against Xavier when he committed four fouls in 17 minutes. Ross isn't one of the first looks on offense, but he's an efficient scorer and piles up the peripherals. He's a solid value play with a very safe floor.

Selton Miguel, Maryland ($4.9K)

Miguel has at least 20 DraftKings points in six of the last seven games. We'll forgive the clunker against Michigan State. Many players have those against Sparty. We'll focus on Miguel's strong, consistent output without the normal price hike.

Trey Townsend, Arizona ($4K)

Townsend played well against Hunter Dickinson again yesterday. I would expect him to be back in a bench role tonight, but Townsend has still flourished in that role lately. He has averaged 19.8 DraftKings points per game over the last four games.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

JT Toppin, Texas Tech ($10.8K)

Toppin has 156.25 DraftKings points in the last three games and put up 89.25 in just 56 minutes of court time against Arizona this year. Kalkbrenner may be the consistent guy, but Toppin's ceiling is better than anyone else's in the college game. Yes, it's even higher than Broome's.

Braden Smith, Purdue ($10.6K)

The price is prohibitive enough to make it very difficult to run both Toppin and Smith in the same lineup. If you go heavy on value (there is enough, but just barely), you can make it work. It may be worth it. Smith put up 100.75 DK points against Michigan in 77 minutes this year. You'll have the two highest ceilings in the same lineup!

Otega Oweh, Kentucky ($8.6K)

Oweh ran it up on Oklahoma again last night, notching his third game of more than 40 DraftKings points in the last five. This is a great matchup against Alabama, and he's running hot. Beware that floor, though. It's like playing Pitfall on Atari.

Amari Williams, Kentucky ($7.6K)

Williams' production is all over the place and has been all season. Alabama was one of those teams that couldn't figure him out. Williams put up 77 DraftKings points in just 49 minutes of court time against the Tide this year. He has been playing more minutes than that lately, so there is potential for a ceiling game tonight.
