Thunder Dan's fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups for Week 16 of the 2025-26 NBA season. Consider these players as fantasy basketball adds, streamers, and stashes.
Week 16 is the last full week before the All-Star break and also includes the NBA trade deadline on Thursday. It should be a pretty eventful week in the NBA, with a lot of rumors still floating around about players who could be on the move. Last week, I wrote about some sneaky stashes for the deadline, but for today, most of my picks will focus on players who have the most games on the schedule, the best matchups, and the most opportunity for playing time.
As a reminder, I have been using the 25% rostered threshold on Yahoo as my cutoff for standard leagues, so there could be some players not mentioned in this article who are still valuable pick-ups, especially if you play in 10-team leagues or shallower formats. For those deep-leaguers, I always feature a section of players who are rostered in 10% or fewer leagues.
Let's dive into the waiver wire and see which widely available players can help your fantasy basketball team win this week. Here are my top waiver adds and streamers for Week 16 of the fantasy basketball season.

Schedule Highlights
- Only one team (Cleveland) plays two games this week. The majority of teams play three times, with nine teams having the coveted four-game week.
- The Sixers have a nice Monday-Tuesday B2B to start the week, while Washington has the always clutch Saturday-Sunday B2B to close out the week.
- My favorite schedules to target are the teams that play Mon-Wed-Fri-Sun, as Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the busiest schedule days. The Clippers and Timberwolves have that schedule, while the Pelicans have a Mon-Wed-Fri schedule, so streaming a player from New Orleans for those three games, then dumping them for a Washington player on Saturday and Sunday, would net you five games.
Standard League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 16
Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Standard Leagues" refer to 10- or 12-team leagues.
I am going back to 25% or lower as the cutoff again this week, with 10% or below right around where I draw the line between standard-league and deep-league adds.
Moussa Diabate - C (25%)
The secret is out on Moussa, and this is likely your last chance to snag him, if he's even available in your league. He continues to improve on both ends of the floor, and with Charlotte playing their best basketball of the season, it feels like his minutes are as safe as they have been at any point this year.
Look at Moussa Diabaté pic.twitter.com/Jxc50sDGwB
— Steve Jones (@stevejones20) January 31, 2026
His six assists last time out were a bit fluky, but he is a solid source of boards, blocks, and FG%. If he keeps playing 30+ minutes a night, he'll be a double-double threat nightly and should continue to improve his 9-CAT rank as he's moved up inside the top 150 just in the last week or two (143).
Collin Murray-Boyles - PF/C (25%)
CMB wasted no time getting back to business after missing four games with an injury. He was immediately inserted back into the starting lineup, playing 28 and 32 minutes in his first two games back and posting a couple of very solid, well-rounded lines.
The next great Raptors defender is here.
Collin Murray-Boyles came in quiet.

— SleeperRaptors (@SleeperRaptors) February 1, 2026
His scoring is going to fluctuate quite a bit, but he's dished out three or more assists in seven straight games and has really picked up his production on the defensive end. Toronto could trade for a big man this week (or maybe Giannis Antetokounmpo?), but CMB looks like he has a bright future in the league and should be rostered in all formats while he's getting this much playing time.
Kyle Kuzma - SF/PF (24%)
I know I kind of trashed Kuzma a bit last week, and that many NBA fans are not keen on him. But the numbers from his last three games speak for themselves. He's averaged 15.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 6.7 assists. You're not going to get defensive stats from Kuzma, but he is piling up counting stats and playing big minutes on this version of the Bucks. Add him if you need those stats, and certainly in points leagues where his lack of diversity in his stats isn't really an issue.
Jock Landale - C (21%)
Landale really underachieved this week after having one of his best stretches of the season the week before. However, I still think he's a compelling option this week with Zach Edey out and Santi Aldama on and off the injury report quite frequently.
Malik Monk - SG (20%)
The Kings just sent Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis to the Cavaliers for De'Andre Hunter. That should open up some more minutes and shots for Monk, for this week at least. What other moves the Kings make before the deadline remains to be seen, and this roster could look a lot different by next week, but I would grab Monk for now if you need points, assists, and threes, and get whatever we can out of him.
Isaiah Collier - PG/SG (20%)
Collier has seen his minutes really stabilize lately, playing 27 to 29 minutes a night across his last four games. One of those was a game without Keyonte George, and he popped off for 16-6-9 in that one. We know the deal with Collier; he's mainly a one-trick pony with assists, but his solid FG% makes him a solid fit for teams that focus on efficiency.
Moses Moody - SG/SF (19%)
Moody's game log is all over the place, but the really good games (19-8-2 against Minnesota and 26-5 against Utah) are examples of what he can do when he's knocking down shots on this post-Jimmy Butler III Warriors team.
Sam Hauser - SF/PF (19%)
Hauser's production has slowed down a bit, but he's still doing enough to warrant being rostered, and his minutes have really solidified in the 25 to 30 range. We don't need huge volume from Sammy anyway, just some efficient shooting from behind the arc and some boards.
Kyle Filipowski - PF/C (17%)
I am adding Filipowski this week because I think he should be stashed through the deadline in case Utah sends Lauri Markkanen or Jusuf Nurkic (or both) somewhere else. If that doesn't happen, then he will continue to be a streamer on nights when Utah rests those two, and a guy we have to wait on until the Jazz decide to shut guys down late in the year.
Bub Carrington - PG/SG (16%)
Carrington has dished out six assists in each of his last two games. Tre Johnson is hurt right now, so Bub should have a shot at some nice short-term value with an uptick in shot attempts. He's still a terribly inefficient shooter, but the assists and steals are very tempting, especially with Washington having a four-game week and that coveted Saturday-Sunday back-to-back to close out the week.
Jarace Walker - SF/PF (16%)
I wrote about Walker as a solid stash candidate for a possible Pacers shutdown late in the season, but he's still playing well and getting solid minutes right now, even with Bennedict Mathurin back in the lineup. He's shooting the ball better right now than he probably will going forward, but he can stack up points, boards, threes, and steals when given enough playing time. I like adding him for a four-game week here.
Jay Huff - C (14%)
I nearly had Huff on the Cut List this week, but then he was suddenly resurrected off the bench and given 23 and 31 minutes in his last two games. I have zero confidence that those minutes stick, but we know Huff can do serious damage with that much playing time in threes and blocks, so give him a look if you need a big man with Huff's skills this week.
Pelle Larsson - SG/SF (13%)
Here's a bold statement - Pelle Larsson is a really good basketball player and should probably be a starter in this league. The second-year wing out of Arizona is crushing it right now for Miami and getting a ton of run due to the absence of Tyler Herro, as well as Norman Powell being in and out of the lineup.

— Heat Clips 🎬 (@MiamiClip) February 1, 2026
You know I love a good shooter who can add value in other categories, and Larsson is doing that right now with some sneaky good rebounds and assists to go with his efficient scoring.
Yves Missi - C (12%)
Missi is enjoying his best run of production this season over the last several weeks. He's seen his minutes go up and offers the Pelicans more rim protection at center than rookie Derik Queen. There's a lot of speculation that he's being shopped for a trade, too. If he ends up elsewhere and gets a chance to start, or even play 25 minutes in a timeshare, he's enough of an asset in boards and blocks to be worth rostering in 12-team leagues.
Dylan Cardwell - C (11%)
I had Cardwell in last week's article, and I featured him as a prime stash candidate, too. He's on a bunch of my rosters for now, and if we see Domantas Sabonis dealt this week, he is going to be a very popular pick-up. You may as well grab him now and get out in front of your league mates.
Deep League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 16
Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Deep Leagues" refer to 14-team leagues or larger.
Ty Jerome - SG (10%)
So it finally happened - Jerome made his Memphis debut and was immediately inserted into the starting lineup. He dropped 20 points in just 19 minutes, adding six assists, two three-pointers, and a steal. This could be the end of the line for Cam Spencer, as Jerome is clearly the better scorer of the two, and Memphis needs all the scoring on the floor that they can get while Ja Morant is out.

— Memphis Grizzlies (@memgrizz) February 1, 2026
He'll probably be on a minutes cap for a while, but Jerome was so good on a per-minute basis in Cleveland last year and doesn't need more than about 25 minutes to carve out solid fantasy value in standard leagues.
De'Anthony Melton - PG/SG (10%)
The Warriors don't have any back-to-back sets this week, so I feel pretty confident we will get three games out of Melton. His last four games have been really solid, and I'm surprised he's still this lightly-rostered considering he can provide about 15 points and two steals per game in a 22 to 24-minute role for Golden State.
Dru Smith - PG/SG (10%)
Davion Mitchell's absence has opened up minutes in the 20s for Smith, and he has had himself quite a nice stretch of production this week. He's averaged six assists per game over his last three and added four threes and five steals over that stretch. He's a fantastic steals guy on a per-minute basis, averaging 1.5 steals in just 17 minutes per game this season. He's definitely worth a look this week while Miami continues to be without multiple rotational pieces.
Aaron Wiggins - SG/SF (9%)
Wiggins has strung together three straight solid outings since he missed two games last week. With Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell still out, Wiggins should continue to see an increased role in Oklahoma City and can contribute in threes, points, and boards.
Al Horford - PF/C (5%)
Horford is fantasy royalty, and his strong recent surge in production has pushed him up into the top 150 this season despite averaging just 19 minutes per game. He's seen minutes in the low to mid-20s since Butler went down with his season-ending injury and has posted some vintage "Big Al" lines lately.
Al Horford can still get up 💪 pic.twitter.com/Cki8HoGK7Z
— Warriors on NBCS (@NBCSWarriors) January 31, 2026
Without any back-to-backs this week, we should get three games from Horford, and his steady across-the-board production could help teams with any type of build in 9-CAT.
Jordan Goodwin - PG/SG (4%)
I am not sure if there is another player in the league who, if I told you they were going to play 25 minutes in a game, you would struggle to estimate their stats more than Goodwin. One look at his game log is a reminder of how random his production can be. However, his minutes have been trending up with Devin Booker out and Jalen Green still missing games while trying to work his way back into the lineup. He can be a crap shoot, but he's also the only other player this lightly rostered who can go out and put up a huge stat line any given night, too.
Luka Garza - C (2%)
Garza has had two of his best games of the season in his last two outings. He picked up some extra playing time against Atlanta when Neemias Queta was out, but still added 11 points and eight boards in 16 minutes against Sacramento, even with Queta back in the lineup. His minutes rarely exceed around 15 to 18 most nights, but his strong rebounding rate and ability to stretch the floor make him a compelling fantasy option, but only for the deepest of formats!
Good luck this week, friends, and never hesitate to reach out with questions on roster moves!
