Thunder Dan's fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups for Week 15 of the 2025-26 NBA season. Consider these players as fantasy basketball adds, streamers, and stashes.

We continue with a very balanced schedule this week, with the smallest slate on Saturday (six games) and the largest on Sunday (10 games). We had more impactful injuries to superstars this week, with Ja Morant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Devin Booker all going down recently. Working the wire has never been more important!

As a reminder, I have been using the 25% rostered threshold on Yahoo as my cutoff for standard leagues, so there could be some players not mentioned in this article who are still valuable pick-ups, especially if you play in 10-team leagues or shallower formats. For those deep-leaguers, I always feature a section of players who are rostered in 10% or fewer leagues.

Let's dive into the waiver wire and see which widely available players can help your fantasy basketball team win this week. Here are my top waiver adds and streamers for Week 15 of the fantasy basketball season.

Schedule Highlights

  • We have nine teams that only play three times this week, but no teams play only twice. A few teams to avoid early in the week are Dallas, San Antonio, and Toronto, as they are off on both Monday and Tuesday.
  • The Bulls play five times this week, three of those games are against the Miami Heat to finish out the week.
  • My favorite back-to-back to target is the Saturday-Sunday pairing to close out the week. San Antonio and Chicago both have that valuable schedule.

 

Standard League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 15

Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Standard Leagues" refer to 10- or 12-team leagues.

I am going back to 25% or lower as the cutoff again this week, with 10% or below being right around where I draw the line between standard league and deep league adds.

Max Christie - SG/SF (25%)

Christie has popped up in this piece on and off all season, but right now he's on an absolute heater and looks like he could have some pretty solid value for the rest of the season. The Mavericks blew a lead late to the Lakers last night, but have been playing some good basketball lately, even without Anthony Davis and a slew of other rotational players. Christie and Naji Marshall have been carrying the scoring burden, with Christie scoring 20+ points in four straight games and drilling 20 threes in that stretch.

He's been a top-30 player over the last two weeks and should be a solid source of points, threes, and solid percentages going forward. It's a light week of games for the Mavs (just three), but I firmly believe he should be universally rostered right now.

Jalen Smith - PF/C (25%)

Another player who should be rostered everywhere is Smith. I know a lot of readers have been waiting for the minutes to disappear, but Smith's strong play is earning him an opportunity to stick in the starting lineup, and he continues to produce at a high level.

At some point, Josh Giddey will slide back into the starting lineup, and either Smith or Isaac Okoro will have to head to the bench, depending on whether the Bulls want to keep playing their big lineup with Nikola Vucevic, Smith, and Matas Buzelis out there together. Even if Smith does head back to the bench, he's still likely going to be playing 25 minutes a night and has proven that he can provide value with fewer minutes than that. With five games this week, the Bulls have the best schedule of any team, so make sure Smith (and Ayo Dosunmu) are both not floating around on your wire for some reason.

Julian Champagnie - SG/SF (24%)

I didn't think we'd ever see Champagnie settle into such a steady stretch of production in San Antonio, but he's taken full advantage of Devin Vassell's injury and has been simply fantastic now for two straight weeks. Vassell could be returning soon, but until we see that actually happen, Champ should be rostered everywhere for his three-point shooting and solid rebounding from the wing.

Cam Spencer - PG/SG (24%)

It's been such a fun ride on the Cam Spencer hype train all year. I remember that I had him in my first column of the season at 1% rostered! He's made the most of his opportunity this season, and now it appears as if he'll have another chance at an extended run of productivity with Morant being announced out for the next three weeks (and still maybe traded?).

The only thing that might dampen our Spencer enthusiasm a bit is the impending return of Ty Jerome in the next week or two. But Spencer has earned the opportunity to start, and Jerome is likely going to take some time to ramp up to any kind of significant minutes, too. For now, ride Spencer for elite assists and three-point shooting.

Sam Hauser - SF/PF (22%)

He finally slowed down yesterday against the Bulls, but Hauser continued his strong run this week with three more really good games before that one. He's now inside the top 30 over the last two weeks, and it feels like his minutes are finally pretty secure in the 25 to 30 range on most nights. The Celtics can be unpredictable with their rotation, but Hauser provides very valuable floor spacing and should continue being a solid source of points, threes, and boards from the PF position.

Collin Murray-Boyles - PF/C (22%)

The other Toronto pickup this week is Sandro Mamukelashvili, but at 27% rostered, he was just over the rostership threshold that I use for this article. Mamu has been going nuts lately as CMB has been injured and out of the lineup for the last three games. CMB is questionable for tonight's game and could return to his starting center gig soon.

Both players should be rostered with the news coming out this week that Jakob Poeltl's back is going to keep him out indefinitely. We kind of knew that was coming, which is why we cut Poeltl a month ago, and I think there's a good chance he's done for the year, allowing the two young bigs to play solid minutes down the stretch for the Raps.

CMB and Mamu both have such fantasy-friendly games that even a timeshare where both guy plays around 25 minutes a night would still likely result in usable stats for fantasy, and they can also play alongside each other as neither one is really a traditional center.

Jock Landale - C (20%)

Landale is enjoying arguably the most productive several weeks of his career. Zach Edey has been on the shelf, and now fellow big man Santi Aldama has missed a few games, allowing Landale to play some heavy minutes and rack up huge scoring and rebounding totals.

Landale isn't a shot blocker, but he can stretch the floor with his three-point shooting. He's one of the most added players on Yahoo over the last few days, and for good reason - not too many other guys out there can give you 20-10 on any given night!

Malik Monk - SG (20%)

Monk went from an afterthought in Sacto to playing a ton of minutes off the bench in a hurry. Zach LaVine has struggled to stay healthy, and Dennis Schroder missed three games with a suspension, allowing Monk to step into a larger role.

But even with Schroder back, Monk continues to see 25 or more minutes in four straight games. He's a solid source of points, threes, and even assists occasionally, so snag him if you need some more scoring.

Kyle Kuzma - SF/PF (17%)

I don't care much for Kuzma or his game, but I don't argue with the stats when they point toward the fact that he's probably in line for an uptick in production with Antetokounmpo out for the next 2-3 weeks.

Kuzma's numbers in 13 games without Giannis are 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 30 minutes a game. He doesn't add much value in defensive stats, but he can pitch in with some decent counting stats, and he'll likely slide into the starting lineup now.

Bub Carrington - PG/SG (15%) and Tre Johnson - SG/SF (14%)

To save some time and space, I lumped these two Washington guards together. Trae Young is not walking out on that floor anytime soon, if at all this season. So lately, it's been Carrington, Johnson, and Kyshawn George playing big minutes and running the offense for Washington.

Carrington has been stuffing the stat sheet lately, and is the guy you want for assists, while Johnson is the better pure scorer - as evidenced by his 26 points and six threes against the Hornets yesterday. Both players have the potential to help out in counting stats, but be careful with Carrington if you value FG%, as he's not bashful about shooting despite his 40% mark on the season.

Jonas Valanciunas - C (15%)

Valanciunas came back and instantly posted a solid 16-9-2 in only 22 minutes before getting the night off on the second half of the back-to-back. He should get another handful of stats until Nikola Jokic returns and Denver plays just one back-to-back this week, so we should get at least three games out of Jo-Val even if he sits one out.

Simone Fontecchio - SF/PF (12%)

Don't look now, but the Italian sharpshooter has been really good for the last week, pouring in double-digit points in five straight and even contributing in boards, assists, and steals, too.

Miami is a tough team to figure out with their rotation, but injuries to Tyler Herro, Davion Mitchell, and Kel'el Ware have opened up solid minutes for Fontecchio in the short term. He's an excellent three-point shooter and a guy who won't hurt your percentages either.

De'Anthony Melton - PG/SG (13%)

I had Melton pegged as the biggest winner of the Jimmy Butler III injury, and it took a few games, but he delivered with a really good 22-3-2-2-1 line in just 23 minutes on Thursday night against Dallas. I like adding him and seeing how things shake out in Golden State, he has the most upside of the Warriors guards in my opinion.

Brandon Williams - PG/SG (12%)

Williams did it again last night, posting 20-4-4 against the Lakers in 23 minutes off the bench. He's winning those backup point guard minutes over Ryan Nembhard and doing just enough to warrant rostering in standard leagues.

Mitchell Robinson - C (12%)

Robinson has been quietly putting up some elite value in rebounds, blocks, and FG% lately and is actually inside the top 40 over the last two weeks. If you punt FT% or points, he's a player with massive value in 9-CAT formats as long as he can stay healthy and maintain his 20-minute role.

 

Deep League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 14

Dylan Cardwell - C (10%)

The fun-loving rookie has now played 20 or more minutes in four straight games and appears to be moving ahead of Maxime Raynaud in the pecking order in Sacramento.

With Domantas Sabonis back in the lineup, I think we see Raynaud mainly play backup center, while Cardwell's athleticism allows him to play some minutes at the four, too. He's their best defensive big man, and this team needs defense in the worst way! He's blocking 1.6 shots per game in only 19 minutes, which is an impressive rate. He's on an upward trajectory right now and makes for a solid pickup if you need boards and blocks.

Jordan Miller - SF (9%)

Miller went from 2% rostered last Sunday when I featured him here to as high as 20% during the middle of the week, and has now dropped back down into single digits again. I still think he's a guy to hold in deeper leagues, as he's still been able to produce with minutes in the 20s since Kawhi Leonard returned.

Justin Champagnie - SF/PF (7%)

The "other Champagnie" deserves some consideration this week, though his minutes and production vary much more wildly than his brother's. He had a few duds last week but then posted a massive 15-11-3-3-2 line yesterday against the Hornets. It's tough to predict these outbursts, but if you take the weekly averages of his recent production, it's still enough to be helpful in points, threes, boards, and steals.

Kevin Huerter - SG/SF (7%)

Huerter might be buried at the end of this article, but that doesn't mean that he's not one of my absolute favorite pick-ups this week! We already established that the Bulls play five times this week, and Huerter might be the one marginal Bulls player who benefits the most from Tre Jones multi-week absence.

He rolled up a tidy 12-6-3 line in 24 minutes last night, including a steal and two threes (one of which was the game-winner!) He has an underrated fantasy game, and if he gets 20+ minutes a night this week, he could be a real difference-maker. If the Bulls rest either Coby White or Giddey in the second half of their back-to-backs, that is only going to open more playing time and shots for Huerter and Dosunmu, too.

Pelle Larsson - SG/SF (7%)

He's been alternating good and bad games over his last five, but the good ones have been quite helpful (20-2-3 yesterday, 16-6-9 last Tuesday). He's locked into 25-30 minutes right now as either a starter or one of the first guys off the bench, so as long as the Heat continue to be down a few regulars, Larsson's role and production look pretty safe.

Marcus Smart - PG/SG (7%)

Smart continues to provide some low-end production in points, threes, assists, and steals while filling in for the injured Austin Reaves. There are always going to be some clunkers mixed in, but he's doing enough to be helpful in deep leagues right now.

Kenrich Williams - PF (1%)

My super deep dive of the week is Williams, who the Thunder have summoned from the end of the bench to play some pretty heavy minutes lately. OKC has been down multiple regulars, and should continue to be without Jalen Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein this week. Williams has a sneaky good fantasy game, as evidenced by his 15 points, 7.5 boards, and 3.0 assists in 28 minutes a night in his last two games.
