It's time for the next edition of our RotoBaller staff start-or-sit calls. Two of the industry's best analysts are here to break down potential sleepers and busts ahead of the full slate of Week 10 NFL action.

Week 10 Fantasy Football Start 'Em Picks
Alec Pierce, Colts vs. Falcons (Thunder Dan)
Pierce has been really good when healthy for Indy this season and is emerging as one of Daniel Jones's favorite targets. He's now seen 28 targets over the last three weeks and has gone for 50+ receiving yards in all but three games this season. Atlanta has been much tougher against the slot than outside receivers this year, so firing up Pierce instead of Josh Downs makes sense, especially as Pierce continues to outperform Downs in terms of yardage and catches most weeks. Now, he just needs to find the end zone.
Quentin Johnston, Chargers vs. Steelers (Scott Engel)
Johnston isn’t a sleeper in the truest sense of the word, but fantasy players don’t trust him. In Week 8, he was shut out, and that is a stain on his game log that many fantasy players will not forget. Last week, he did bounce back to at least catch a TD pass, which was his sixth of the season. But Johnston finished with only four catches for 53 yards, which didn’t help to gain much more faith in him. The presence of Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen, plus the ascension of Oronde Gadsden II, has raised concerns about Johnston’s reliability. Such reservations about starting him are legitimate because of the Chargers’ quality depth among the pass-catchers. But Johnston can be started this week, as he remains a frequent downfield and red zone target for Justin Herbert. No team allows more Fantasy Points Per Game to WRs than the Steelers.
Parker Washington, Jaguars at Texans (Thunder Dan)
Brian Thomas Jr. has yet to practice this week, and the Jags' acquisition of Jakobi Meyers leads me to believe that they know they could be without him this week or longer. It should take Meyers a week or two to assimilate into Jacksonville's system, leaving Washington as the potential WR1 this week if BTJ were to miss. He was great last week, catching 9-90 against Las Vegas, and was targeted 10 times in Week 7. Fire him up as a solid WR3 or FLEX option this week.
Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks vs. Cardinals (Scott Engel)
Walker has certainly been a fantasy disappointment this season, as he was expected to be the lead fantasy producer in a busy backfield. Seattle has not shied away from running the ball, but Walker hasn’t been efficient, not finishing as a top 20 fantasy RB in six of eight weeks. He has not rushed for a TD in his last five games. The presence of Zach Charbonnet is certainly cutting into Walker’s potential output, and he also is guilty of juking and trying to evade tacklers before he needs to, rather than taking off with authority. But this week, we could see improvements in the Seattle running game. The addition of Rashid Shaheed will prevent opponents from loading their fronts as often as they have been, and fullback Robbie Ouzts will be back for his second consecutive game. Start Walker as an RB2, and with more room to run and less of a need to dance behind the line of scrimmage, he is capable of recapturing his better form.
Mark Andrews, Ravens at Vikings (Thunder Dan)
Andrews wasted no time finding the end zone last week, scoring twice with Lamar Jackson back under center. This week, the Ravens face the Vikings, who run more zone coverage than any team in the league. That should lead to a lot of room for Andrews to operate underneath and rack up yardage and catches. He's one of the top weapons in this offense that finally seems poised to get back to where they were last season with a healthy Jackson and weapons.

Jauan Jennings, 49ers vs. Rams (Scott Engel)
After a three-game run of not reaching the nine-point mark, Jennings finished with 14.1 points as he caught his second TD pass of the season. His four receptions for 41 yards were not too encouraging, but the 49ers simply need Jennings to produce in a major matchup vs. the Rams. San Francisco needs a win to stay in the NFC West title mix with Los Angeles and Seattle. The Rams will be heavily focused on containing Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, so Jennings must step up in a huge divisional matchup. The Rams have not been a good matchup for opposing WRs this season, but I will look past the matchup because of the significance of the game and expect Jennings to deliver more when needed most.
Week 10 Fantasy Football Busts and Sits
Breece Hall, Jets vs. Browns (Thunder Dan)
Hall wanted out of New York but wasn't traded. I have no interest in rostering a guy who is unhappy and not motivated to play, let alone a running back who is facing a top-5 Cleveland rush defense. Leave Hall on the bench; things could get ugly for the Jets down the stretch.

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals at Seahawks (Scott Engel)
Alvin Kamara, Saints at Panthers (Thunder Dan)
Kamara has a major bust this season, and many of us saw it coming a mile away. The Saints' offense has been objectively awful, and the switch at quarterback to Tyler Shough didn't change much for Kamara or others. Not even a trip to the IR for Kendre Miller can save Kamara's season, as he's hit double-digit points in PPR scoring just three times this year. Carolina used to be a good matchup, but they have improved against the run, and the Saints are likely to struggle running the ball once again this week.
Khalil Shakir, Bills at Dolphins (Scott Engel)
The Bills remain a fantasy enigma. While they continue to feature one of the NFL’s best offenses, none of their WRs are reliable. Shakir has logged just one top 10 fantasy WR performance this season. At first glance, you may look at his matchup vs. the lowly Dolphins this week and assume he can produce better numbers than usual. Miami’s defense actually ranks first in FFPG allowed to WRs, not because the secondary is outstanding. The stat is tilted because the Dolphins’ run defense ranks 30th in the NFL. This will be a big week for the Buffalo running game. They can beat the Dolphins without needing much from Shakir, and Dalton Kincaid has been emerging as a bigger receiving threat lately.
Tyrone Tracy Jr., Giants at Bears (Thunder Dan)
A lot of folks were expecting Tracy to inherit the RB1 role when Cam Skattebo went down, but last week we saw Devin Singletary emerge as the more productive back. Tracy just isn't that good and lacks the burst that Singletary offers, in addition to being a worse asset in the passing game. He will still mix in for early down carries, but it's hard to trust either Giants running back this week, even in a good matchup against the Bears.
Jakobi Meyers, Jaguars at Texans (Scott Engel)
From a fantasy perspective, I have never really been a fan of Meyers. In the past two seasons, he has had just four TD receptions, with none this season. His 1,000-yard campaign in 2024 looks like an outlier yardage-wise. Going from Geno Smith to Trevor Lawrence at QB is an upgrade, but not a huge one, and the matchup is not a favorable one in Week 10. Meyers’ first game with the Jaguars will be against Houston, which ranks third in FFPG allowed to WRs. Don’t start Meyers this week.
