Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams Return to Packers Practice
Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and Savion Williams (concussion) were both seen back at practice on Friday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Wicks left practice on Monday with a calf injury, while Williams has been battling a concussion for about a week. Both players are competing for reps in a crowded Green Bay receiver room that also includes Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden, and Jayden Reed. Wicks played 17 games for the Packers last season, hauling in 39 catches for 415 yards and 415 yards. Williams is a third-round rookie out of TCU who recorded 60 catches for 611 yards and six touchdowns in his final collegiate season. Both players need all the practice time they can get to prove themselves worthy of playing time, so it's a good sign that they're back on the field.
