EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings And FanDuel (8/30/25) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 3

Brandon's DraftKings and FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League Soccer on 8/30/25 (Matchweek 3). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to "The Kick-Off," and welcome to the 2025-2026 season! We have survived a very long and gruesome few months since the last match was played. Futbol is back, and we are ready to conquer the new season. Only a few days left of the Summer Transfer Window! Be on the lookout for last-minute transfers and benchings! Let's kick off Matchweek 3 with a bang!

The top favorite for this week is Manchester United (-290) vs Burnley FC (+750). I will guide you through this four-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST on Saturday, August 30.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else, don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected], via X @df_solutions, or in our Discord chat rooms.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

EPL DFS Goalies

Jordan Pickford - DK $4.6K || FD $9

Opponent - at Wolverhampton

When selecting goalies, it always comes down to save value, and this weekend, Jordan Pickford couldn’t stand out any better. There is one caveat to the play, though. Wolverhampton, in their first two fixtures, are the worst club in both Shots Per 90 and Goals Per 90. Could Everton’s inability to defend give up a few shots on target? That would be the dream!

Pickford did not have a dream debut, losing 1-0 to a re-promoted Leeds United side. Although it was not an easy fixture, playing at Elland Road to start the season. Nevertheless, Pickford bounced back with a solid four-save, 2-0 win versus Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend. He now has six saves, one goal against, and one clean sheet in his first two matches of the new domestic season.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Djordje Petrovic (DK $3.9K || FD $8) at Tottenham
  • Martin Dúbravka (DK $3.7K || FD $7) at Manchester United

EPL DFS Forwards

Benjamin Šeško - DK $7.1K || FD $19

Opponent - vs. Burnley FC

Manchester United has to be cursed, right? Despite the hype surrounding the Red Devils heading into the season, following their offseason moves. They have yet to win a match, with their most recent fixture a 12-11 penalty kick loss to Fourth Tier Grimsby Town FC in the EFL Cup. It is ‘do-or-die’ now for many at Old Trafford, including manager Ruben Amorim and newly signed striker Benjamin Šeško. Grimsby was Šeško’s first start of the season. In his two domestic appearances off the bench, he has produced two shots and two created chances.

Burnley FC is hovering at the bottom 10 of the top flight in all metrics after two weeks. Considering their lack of defense prowess and United’s desperate attempt to salvage the season three weeks in, Šeško and his salary are very palatable.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Richarlison (DK $11.4K || FD $21) vs. AFC Bournemouth
  • Jaidon Anthony (DK $6.6K || FD $17) at Manchester United

EPL DFS Midfielders

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - DK $3.7K || FD $14

Opponent - at Wolverhampton

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall may be the first 100% owned player of the season in any format or contest this weekend. The playmaking attacking midfielder should not have such a low DraftKings salary, but we will not complain. He is expected to reach value quickly, considering his role with the Toffees. In his first two domestic starts, he amassed five created chances, nine crosses, three corners, two tackles, one interception, and two clearances.

No matter how good a defense Wolverhampton has, KDH will surpass value in this matchup. He will be the key to affording Tottenham and Manchester United stacks.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Bruno Fernandes (DK $10.6K || FD $23) vs. Burnley FC
  • Granit Xhaka (DK $3.9K || FD $14) vs. Brentford FC

EPL DFS Defenders

Defenders

Trai Hume - DK $5.8K || FD $9

Opponent - vs. Brentford FC

Many will be focused on Tottenham wingback Pedro Porro. However, it is Trai Hume that may produce the most fantasy points at the defense position. In his first two domestic fixtures, he managed one shot, two created chances, 10 crosses, four corners, four tackles, two interceptions, and three clearances.

Brentford FC is the second-worst club in the top flight through two weeks when defending against the cross. They have given up 51 crosses to start the season. The only club to give up more is Burnley FC. Keep in mind that Hume is the featured set-piece taker for the Bees, too. Despite his higher salary, he is expected to surpass value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Pedro Porro (DK $6.3K || FD $15) vs. AFC Bournemouth
  • Jake O’Brien (DK $2.6K || FD $9) at Wolverhampton

Corner Takers

**Speculative until there is enough data and or manager notes**

  • Manchester United: Bruno Fernandes/Bryan Mbeumo
  • Burnley FC: Quilindschy Hartman
  • Sunderland AFC:  Trai Hume/Granit Xhaka
  • Brentford FC: Mikkel Damsgaard
  • Tottenham:  Mohammed Kudus/Pedro Porro
  • AFC Bournemouth: Marcus Tavernier/David Brooks
  • Wolverhampton: Jean-Ricner Bellegarde
  • Everton FC: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
