MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!!

EPL DFS Goalies

Mark Flekken - DK $5.5K || FD $12

Opponent - vs. Manchester United

Mark Flekken may not be the most optimal goalie on the slate. However, Flekken has the highest potential floor and ceiling. Manchester United is the worst club in Goals Per 90 over the last five domestic fixtures. They are also the fourth-best club in Shots Per 90.

Brentford FC is the fourth-worst club in Shots Against Per 90, but they are a top-ten club in Goals Against Per 90. Despite being the highest-salaries goalie on the slate, Flekken is in a premium matchup against a bottom-three club offensively.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Nick Pope (DK $5K || FD $11) at Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Guglielmo Vicario (DK $4.4K || FD $9) at West Ham United

EPL DFS Forwards

Jarrod Bowen - DK $9.2K || FD $19

Opponent - vs. Tottenham Hotspurs

Since Jarrod Bowen’s injury in January, he has produced double-digit fantasy points in nine of his last 11 domestic appearances. Over his last five, he has managed two goals, two assists, 11 shots, six chances created, 11 corners, four tackles, and three interceptions.

Tottenham will not be an easy opponent, although they have been a bottom-ten club defensively in their last five domestic fixtures. With rumors going around that the Spurs are looking at Bowen during the summer transfer window, this could be a final tryout for the playmaking winger.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Alexander Isak (DK $7.6K || FD $21) at Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Mathys Tel (DK $5.5K || FD $15) at West Ham United

EPL DFS Midfielders

Bryan Mbeumo - DK $9.6K || FD $22

Opponent - vs. Manchester United

Despite Per 90 metrics against painting one picture, the ‘eye-test’ tells a different story. The Red Devils have been a top-five club defensively in their last five domestic fixtures. However, that may not be the case. They continue to struggle to possess the ball and turn the ball over more often than not.

Brentford FC is a club that can capitalize on those turnovers quickly, and there is no better man for the job than Bryan Mbeumo. The midfielder and attacker has produced three goals, one assist, 12 shots, 13 chances created, 27 crosses, 13 corners, 10 tackles, two interceptions, and three clearances. As the primary set piece taker, Mbeumo is expected to reach value once more.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Matt O’Riley (DK $5.8K || FD $13) vs. Newcastle United
  • Christian Eriksen (DK $5.2K || FD $13) vs. Brentford FC

EPL DFS Defenders

Kieran Trippier - DK $5.6K || FD $11

Opponent - at Brighton & Hove Albion

Kieran Trippier did not disappoint last weekend, accumulating two assists, three chances created, 12 crosses, eight corners, and four tackles. Throughout his last five domestic appearances, he has three assists, one shot, nine chances created, 30 crosses, 26 corners, 12 tackles, 13 clearances, and two blocks.

On the other end of the pitch is Brighton & Hove Albion, the league’s worst Goals Against Per 90 club. They are also the worst club at In-the-Box Goals Against Per 90 and have the third-worst Penalty Area Defense, all in their last five domestic matches. Trippier will have numerous opportunities to replicate his successful outing from last weekend.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Djed Spence (DK $5K || FD $10) at West Ham United
  • Jaydan Kamason (DK $3.5K || FD $5) at Brentford FC

Corner Takers

  • Brentford FC: Bryan Mbeumo
  • Manchester United: Christian Eriksen
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Matt O’Riley
  • Newcastle United: Kieran Trippier
  • West Ham United: James Ward-Prowse
  • Tottenham Hotspurs: Mathys Tel

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
