EPL DFS Goalies

Jordan Pickford - DK $4.2K || FD $8

Opponent - at Fulham FC

Value at the goalkeeper position this weekend is unheard of, and the goalie position may be the last position filled in the majority of lineups. Although Jordan Pickford does offer a glimpse of hope when searching for value. The goalie has made 21 saves, conceded six goals, and recorded one clean sheet in his last five domestic starts.

In Everton's last five domestic matches, they are barely bottom-ten in Shots Against Per 90 and barely top-ten in Goals Against Per 90. Fulham is barely a top-ten club in both Shots and Goals Per 90. This stems from their recent uptick in form. Can they hold it, or will Pickford and the Toffees prove impenetrable?

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Mark Flekken (DK $5.5K || FD $12) at Ipswich Town FC
  • José Sá (DK $4.7K || FD $9) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

EPL DFS Forwards

Matheus Cunha - DK $10.8K || FD $21

Opponent - vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Matheus Cunha was held off the score sheet in the close 1-0 loss against Manchester City last week. This was the third time he had been held scoreless in his last 11 fixtures in all competitions. Within his most recent five domestic matches–four starts–Cunha has produced three goals, two assists, 13 shots, 11 chances created, 10 crosses, four corners, five tackles, and two interceptions.

The Seagulls have defended well against most things in their last five matches. However, one area they are struggling in is the six-yard box. The hosts are the worst at In-the-Box Goals Against Per 90, Goals Against Per 90, and Penalty Area Defense. Whether Cunha is attacking the box or setting up chances, he is expected to reach value in this matchup.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Omar Marmoush (DK $9.8K || FD $22) at Southampton
  • Dwight McNeil (DK $6.5K || FD $17) at Fulham FC

EPL DFS Midfielders

Bryan Mbeumo - DK $10.6K || FD $24

Opponent - at Ipswich Town FC

Bryan Mbeumo has arguably the best matchup on the slate, against Ipswich Town FC. In Per 90 metrics against, in the last five fixtures, the hosts are the second-worst in Goals, Big Chances Created, and In-the-Box Goals. Furthermore, they are the worst in Shots, Chances Created, In-the-Box Shots and Penalty Area Defense.

Mbeumo is carrying Brentford FC’s offense. The midfielder is fourth in the English Premier League in Shots Per 90, he is also the seventh-best in Goals and the eighth-best in Goals + Assists. As the majority set piece taker for Brentford FC and the catalyst for the Bees, expect Mbeumo to get back in the value column in this favorable matchup. In his most recent five domestic matches, he has accumulated two goals, one assist, 11 shots, 13 chances created, 29 crosses, 15 corners, 11 tackles, and one interception.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Kevin de Bruyne (DK $11.6K || FD $20) at Southampton
  • Andreas Pereira (DK $7.8K || FD $13) vs. Everton FC

EPL DFS Defenders

Michael Kayode - DK $4.2K || FD $9

Opponent - at Ipswich Town FC

After making sporadic appearances throughout the season, Michael Kayode looks like a mainstay in the starting XI for the Bees. The fullback has produced one assist, one shot, two chances created, two crosses, 12 tackles, three interceptions, and 12 clearances in his last five domestic appearances and three starts.

As mentioned above, Ipswich Town FC is the second-worst club, if not the worst, in the last five fixtures. Kayode may not rack up the defensive peripherals, but he may get his best chance yet to showcase his offensive skill in this meeting.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Rayan Aït-Nouri (DK $6.3K || FD $12) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Jacob Greaves (DK $2.5K || FD $11) vs. Brentford FC

Corner Takers

  • Fulham FC: Andreas Pereira
  • Everton FC: Dwight McNeil
  • Ipswich Town FC: Julio Enciso
  • Brentford FC: Bryan Mbeumo
  • Southampton: Mateus Fernandes
  • Manchester City: Kevin de Bruyne
  • Wolverhampton: Matheus Cunha
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Matt O’Riley

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
