EPL DFS Goalies

Bernd Leno - DK $4.6K || FD $10

Opponent - vs. Chelsea FC

Bernd Leno has produced 16 saves in his last five starts in all competitions, conceded eight goals, and recorded one clean sheet. Fulham, in their last five domestic fixtures, has conceded 2.39 more Shots Against Per 90 and 1.43 more Chances Created Against Per 90. However, they are roughly even when analyzing their Goals Against Per 90.

At the opposite end of the pitch is Chelsea and they are producing 2.33 more Shots Per 90, but 0.42 fewer Goals Per 90. In their last meeting at Stamford Bridge, Fulham FC won 2-1. Can Leno pull off another stellar seven-save performance?

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • David Raya (DK $6K || FD $13) at Ipswich Town FC
  • José Sá (DK $4.2K || FD $9) at Manchester United

EPL DFS Forwards

Matheus Cunha - DK $9.4K || FD $21

Opponent - at Manchester United

In their last five domestic starts, Manchester United has been a middle-of-the-park club defensively. They are not performing well or terribly, which is further clarified when comparing their last five to their season.

It remains to be seen if they can tame the Wolves, though. Even without Matheus Cunha, Wolverhampton managed to produce multiple goal performances. Now they have their star striker and playmaker back. In the only other matchup against Manchester United this season, Cunha managed one goal, one assist, two shots, one chance created, two crosses, two corners, four tackles, and one interception. Within his most recent five appearances in all competitions, he has four goals, 19 shots, 11 chances created, 20 crosses, 12 corners, five tackles, one interception, and five clearances. As the primary set piece taker prior to his injury, Cunha is expected to return to said role. He is projected to reach value here.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Bukayo Saka (DK $10.6K || FD $24) at Ipswich Town FC
  • Jaden Sancho (DK $4.4K || FD $14) at Fulham FC

EPL DFS Midfielders

Cole Palmer - DK $10K || FD $23

Opponent - at Fulham FC

Based on the projected starting XI for Chelsea, midfielder and winger Pedro Neto is not starting, and Cole Palmer is. This leaves the latter with the primary role on set pieces. In Palmer’s last five domestic fixtures, he has two assists, 23 shots, nine chances created, 13 crosses, three corners, four tackles, one interception, and four clearances.

As mentioned above, Fulham FC has played well enough defensively in their last five domestic fixtures. Can Palmer and company crack open Bernd Leno, or will the keeper produce another magical effort?

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Bruno Fernandes (DK $10.2K || FD $22) vs. Wolverhampton
  • Sasa Lukic (DK $3.3K || FD $11) vs. Chelsea

EPL DFS Defenders

Harry Amass - DK $2.7K || FD $7

Opponent - vs. Wolverhampton

Harry Amass is nothing but a ‘dart’ throw at this point. The fullback has made back-to-back appearances and has one shot, two crosses, two tackles, one interception, and four clearances in his three total appearances with the Red Devils.

  Despite Amass’s low production, his potential is still there, but the matchup is difficult. In the last five domestic matches, Wolverhampton has conceded 0.65 fewer Goals Against Per 90 and 2.81 fewer Shots Against Per 90. Furthermore, they have conceded 1.75 fewer Chances Created Against Per 90. Luckily, the youngster’s salary is ‘affordable’. Considering all of the higher-salaried options on the slate, Amass could be the key to unlocking those players.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • William Saliba (DK $3.4K || FD $12) at Ipswich Town FC
  • Joachim Andersen (DK $3.8K || FD $13) vs. Chelsea

Corner Takers

  • Fulham FC: Andreas Pereira
  • Chelsea FC: Cole Palmer
  • Ipswich Town FC: Leif Davis/Julio Enciso
  • Arsenal FC: Martin Ødegaard
  • Manchester United: Bruno Fernandes
  • Wolverhampton: Matheus Cunha

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
