Caris LeVert is worth considering as a fantasy basketball waiver wire pickup heading into Week 13 of the 2022-23 NBA season.

ANALYSIS: If you limit your fantasy analysis to the last couple of weeks, then you'll find Caris LeVert at the top of multiple leaderboards. That makes sense, of course, as Darius Garland has missed all games played between Dec. 29 and Jan. 5, only returning last Friday... to get his thumb hit hard again and potentially miss more games again.
LeVert took advantage of Garland's absence and Donovan Mitchell playing PG or resting (such as on Friday) to get four consecutive starts, three at the two-guard spot and one (the first one) as the main playmaker and point guard of the Cavs. No matter the position or the role, CLV has been sublime.
In the last five games from Dec. 29 on, LeVert has scored 10+ points in each of them, averaging a silly 19 PPG in that span. He's contributed all across the board, though, adding a near 5-3-1 rest-of-line on the boards, dimes, and steals departments in that five-game span.
Those numbers aren't out of his season-wide averages, mind you, so they look like he can sustain them ROS. LeVert is putting up a season-long 12-4-3 line with 0.8 SPG. He's doing that on a hair above 31 MPG of playing time. LeVert is one of just 15 players with PG/SG eligibility (min. 1,100 MP) averaging those stats through the 2022-23 season.
