Michael Carter's Role in the Cardinals' Offense Could Expand in Week 13
Arizona Cardinals running back Michael Carter had an efficient week on the ground last Sunday and might see more touches in a tough Week 13 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Carter could be forced into the RB1 role in the Cardinals' offense if running back Bam Knight (knee) is unable to play Sunday. Knight is listed as questionable for Week 13 after being limited in practice all week, which leans him towards being on the right side of questionable. If Knight plays, Carter will continue to be a change-of-pace back in a difficult matchup. The Buccaneers have allowed the seventh fewest rushing yards this season to ball carriers. Carter will need to see an uptick in volume in the passing game to stay fantasy viable. In deep leagues, Carter will be a risky flex option that will need to find the end zone to pay off for fantasy managers, whether Knight plays or not on Sunday.
