Best Week 11 RB Streamers - Fantasy Football Running Backs to Pickup and Start

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, Running Back Sleepers, RB Handcuffs

The top Week 11 running back streamers, fantasy football pickups and RB starts for 2025. Target these fantasy rb streaming options with strong Week 11 matchups.

Losing your starting running backs in fantasy football to injuries is one of the surest ways to see your team collapse down the stretch. Bye weeks can also be particularly painful -- this week, Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor and New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara won't play.

A combination of the two, or the RBs you drafted being disappointing, can kill your team's playoff chances pretty quickly. If you selected Tennessee Titans tailback Tony Pollard in your fantasy drafts, you're likely in a tough spot.

But we've already seen Rico Dowdle and Kyle Monangai, RBs for the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears, step into big roles and produce quite well. They were excellent streaming options, with one turning into his team's lead back. They can help you win your games, so I'll try to help you win this week -- let's dive into my favorite streaming options at RB for Week 11!

Top Running Back Streamers for Week 11

Only players rostered in fewer than 65% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.

Chris Rodriguez (WAS) @ MIA
20% Rostered

Rodriguez has taken over the starting running back role for the Commanders. While RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt out-touched Rodriguez in Week 10, it was only because C-Rod had to be pulled from the game after he injured his shoulder.

He was removed from the injury report on Thursday, so he should be good to go. He'll likely handle the bulk of the carries and get the goal-line work, because JCM struggles so massively with playing with power and contact balance. Rodriguez is simply the tougher runner, and in hindsight, should have never been leapfrogged by Croskey-Merritt on the depth chart.

Rodriguez has appeal because the Commanders are 12th in ESPN's Run Block Win Rate. Typically, on social media, you'll see a lot of blame get passed around for underperforming players to the supporting cast around them. Many fantasy managers with JCM have been lambasting the Commanders' offensive line.

But not every OL can consistently open up massive holes for an RB to run through untouched. That rarely happens. Running backs need to be able to deal with contact, and Rodriguez can. His game against the porous Miami Dolphins run defense could be pretty nice.

You're hoping for a rushing touchdown if he plays, but there are worse tailbacks to start.

Emari Demercado (ARI) vs. SF
46% Rostered

We're well into Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season, and we still haven't heard any word on a timetable for the return of Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee). He's the current starter due to RB James Conner (ankle) dislocating his ankle in Week 3. Benson only played in one contest as the starter before going down.

That's left RBs Bam Knight (ankle), Michael Carter, and Demercado splitting reps at RB since then. It hasn't been pretty, but it's obvious that Demercado is the most explosive of the three. He's also the passing down back, so he has a bit more upside in PPR leagues, where receptions count for one full fantasy point.

Of course, he threw away a touchdown back in Week 5 and has seen reduced reps since then. Considering how much better he's been than Knight and Carter, it seems like Arizona would benefit from giving him a bigger role. It's been confusing to see Knight continue to get the starts.

Demercado had 14 carries for 79 yards in Week 9 and four carries for 64 yards in Week 10, averaging a pretty healthy 7.9 yards per carry in those two contests, to go along with four catches for 39 yards. You're speculating by starting him here, but there are worse decisions you could make.

Ty Johnson (BUF) vs. TB
13% Rostered

Johnson is the Bills' pass-catching running back. He tends to see more reps in games where Buffalo is behind. So when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to Buffalo to play, we could see a game script that favors Johnson, and enough catches to make him a barely serviceable flex play.

Bills RB1 James Cook gets the lion's share of the work... when the team is ahead. When they're not, he struggles, and Tampa Bay also has a solid run defense. If the Bills go behind, we could quickly see Johnson's snap rate spike.

He's occasionally played the role of touchdown vulture, too, so you'll have to hope that happens again. At least he's tied to a good offense that can be highly productive, even if he's a very risky play. The waiver wire is unfortunately picked clean at this time of year.

Blake Corum (LAR) vs. SEA
21% Rostered

Corum hasn't challenged for the RB1 role for the Rams, but he has had a decent role in the past few weeks. In Week 7, Week 9, and Week 10, he had 12, 13, and 13 carries, and though he only caught one pass for six yards in that stretch, it only takes a day like that and a touchdown to make him start-worthy in fantasy.

The game against the Seattle Seahawks will likely be competitive, with both teams having explosive offenses that are among the league's best. Typically, backup running backs are better starts in games where both teams score a lot, because more opportunities for touchdowns are present.

Corum stealing a touchdown and getting 10-15 carries again would be nice. It should be noted that he's a risky start, because Los Angeles might opt to use starting RB Kyren Williams more heavily when they're in a more competitive game.

Still, it's not like you have much of a choice. Streaming RBs is a very risky and low-upside affair by its nature.

Week 11 Running Back Decisions. Today's focus is on specific RBs - Chris Rodriguz Jr., Emari Demercado, Ty Johnson, and Blake Corum. These are some of the most common searches for fantasy football lineups in Week 11.

Using The Tool. This is a simple tool, but very powerful. The first step is to enter the player names that you want to compare. In the first box, search for the first player's name. In the second box, search for the second player's name. Compare up to four NFL players at once, and then click the Who To Start? button to see who the recommended starts are based on weekly fantasy football matchups.

Improvements For Who Should I Start? You may have noticed that our 'Who Should I Start?' tool has gotten an overhaul. We've added lots of great features for you to give you as much information as possible to win your fantasy football matchups each week. You'll see NFL player tiles with headshots and bye weeks, stats, projections, strength of schedule, player news, and enhanced search results with data to compare with a slick new interface. We hope you enjoy!

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings and projections based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this tool. When you search for player names, you will only see those players who are ranked. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.

Scoring Formats. Fantasy football managers play in various types of leagues, and this tool allows you to choose whether it's PPR scoring, Half-PPR scoring, or Standard (Non-PPR) scoring. The second thing you want to do is to select the scoring format. There are three small radio buttons (small circles), so click on the scoring format you prefer. The results may vary based on the scoring format you select.
