Cameron Ward Could Be in for Another Learning Experience in Week 9
Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cameron Ward had the best fantasy game of his young career in a losing effort in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts. The 23-year-old rookie cracked the Top-20 and over 13 fantasy points for the first time in his career on his way to a QB17 finish. Ward enters Week 9 as RotoBaller's 26th-ranked quarterback in a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers at home. The Chargers' defense has allowed the seventh fewest passing yards and has forced seven interceptions this season. Ward has struggled through the air, completing only 57% of his passes and throwing one interception in each of his last six games. The 2025 No. 1 overall pick's struggles in the passing game, paired with a Week 9 matchup against Rotoballer's No. 1-ranked fantasy defense, create a recipe for disaster for fantasy managers. Ward should remain out of lineups heading into this weekend, outside of superflex or 2QB leagues.
