Mike Fanelli provides his final 2025 NFL mock draft with trades before the NFL Draft begins on April 24. Full two-round predictions for the top NFL rookie prospects

The 2025 NFL Draft is nearly here. The rumor mill has been on fire over the past few weeks.

Therefore, let’s dive into my second mock draft of the year for RotoBaller.

This mock draft is for the first two rounds with 11 hypothetical trades, including six in the first round.

ROUND 1

1) Tennessee Titans – Cameron Ward, QB, Miami

At this point, it’s more likely that an asteroid hits the Earth than the Titans passing on Ward with the first overall pick.

2) Cleveland Browns – Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

Reportedly, head coach Kevin Stefanski believes Hunter is a smaller version of Justin Jefferson. The former Colorado star would be the Browns’ top wide receiver and cornerback as a rookie.

3) New York Giants – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

While the Giants have done a ton of last-minute homework on Shedeur Sanders, they can’t possibly pass on one of the top two prospects in the draft class. Pairing Carter with Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Dexter Lawrence II would give opposing quarterbacks nightmares.

4) New England Patriots – Will Campbell, OT, LSU

The Patriots have two massive needs heading into the NFL Draft -- offensive line and weapons in the passing game. While Campbell's arm length has been a popular topic during the predraft process, the former LSU star would be a plug-and-play left tackle for New England.

5) Jacksonville Jaguars – Mason Graham, DL, Michigan

New head coach Liam Coen made it clear earlier this offseason that the Jaguars need to improve both the offensive and defensive lines. After adding four offensive linemen in free agency, including two starters, expect Jacksonville to pair Graham with last year’s second-round pick, Maason Smith.

6) Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

While this might be the most chalk-like pick over the past few weeks, Jeanty makes sense for the Raiders. Raheem Mostert is the team’s current starting running back. Head coach Pete Carroll will make Jeanty his new Marshawn Lynch and the focal point of the offense.

7) New York Jets – Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

The Jets will likely draft an offensive lineman or Tyler Warren with the seventh overall pick. While Warren is a superstar, the tight end class is loaded with talented prospects. Pairing Membou with last year’s first-round pick, Olu Fashanu, will give Justin Fields an excellent set of bookend tackles.

Miami Dolphins receive picks 8, 114. Carolina Panthers receive picks 13, 48.

8) Miami Dolphins (via Panthers) – Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Terron Armstead announced his retirement a few weeks ago, leaving Miami’s already poor offensive line looking worse. The Dolphins move ahead of several offensive linemen-needy teams to secure Banks, who can play tackle or guard.

9) New Orleans Saints – Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

Unfortunately, Derek Carr’s time in New Orleans could be over following the news about his shoulder injury. While many mock drafts will have the Saints taking Shedeur Sanders, Dart is a better match for head coach Kellen Moore’s past quarterbacks.

10) Chicago Bears – Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

While Cole Kmet has been a solid starting NFL tight end, Warren offers significantly more upside for Ben Johnson. The former Penn State star can play anywhere on the field, including out of the backfield. Last year, he had 218 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 26 attempts.

11) San Francisco 49ers – Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

San Francisco lost several members of its defensive line this offseason, including Leonard Floyd. Walker will give the 49ers a high-upside edge rusher to help rebuild their defense.

12) Dallas Cowboys – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

CeeDee Lamb is the Cowboys’ only meaningful weapon in the passing game. Jonathan Mingo and Jalen Tolbert aren’t starting-caliber wide receivers. McMillan would be an excellent fit in Dallas opposite the superstar pass-catcher.

13) Carolina Panthers (via Dolphins) – Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The Panthers traded back with the Dolphins and still land a high-end edge rusher prospect. Green led college football with 17 sacks last season. By comparison, Carolina had 32 sacks as a team in 2024.

14) Indianapolis Colts – Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State

While many mock drafts have the Colts taking a tight end with their first-round pick, don’t be surprised if they focus on the offensive line. They lost Ryan Kelly and Will Fries in free agency, while Braden Smith is heading into the final year of his contract. Zabel can play anywhere along the offensive line.

Cleveland Browns receive pick 15. Atlanta Falcons receive picks 33, 67, 104, 2026 second-rounder.

15) Cleveland Browns (via Falcons) – Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Don’t be surprised if the Browns trade back into the first round to draft Sanders if the former Colorado star starts to slide. Cleveland has 10 picks in the NFL Draft, while Atlanta has the second fewest (five). This is how the Browns can keep the Colorado duo together in the NFL while stopping Sanders from landing with the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers a few picks later.

16) Arizona Cardinals – Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan

Arizona added Dalvin Tomlinson and Calais Campbell in free agency. However, both players signed a two-year or shorter deal. Grant doesn’t get the national attention his former teammate, Mason Graham, has received. Yet, he is almost as good a prospect.

17) Cincinnati Bengals – Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

Hopefully, the Bengals can work out a long-term contract extension with Trey Hendrickson. Even if the superstar remains in Cincinnati, the team needs to add to its pass-rush unit after Sam Hubbard retired earlier this offseason.

Los Angeles Chargers receive pick 18. Seattle Seahawks receive picks 22, 86.

18) Los Angeles Chargers (via Seahawks) – Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Loveland could come off the board as early as 11th overall to the San Francisco 49ers. However, don’t be surprised if Jim Harbaugh trades up ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos to secure his former Michigan star if Loveland starts to slip.

19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The Buccaneers re-signed Lavonte David this offseason. However, he isn’t getting any younger, and Tampa Bay needs to find his long-term replacement. Campbell can also help the team’s issues with rushing the passer, totaling five sacks last year at Alabama.

20) Denver Broncos – Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

Denver has two significant offensive needs heading into the NFL Draft. With no first-round tight end left on the board, Sean Payton gets his new superstar running back. Hampton is a near first-round lock who could come off the board as early as 10th overall.

Los Angeles Rams receive pick 21. Pittsburgh Steelers receive picks 26, 90.

21) Los Angeles Rams (via Steelers) – Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

While the Rams re-signed Ahkello Witherspoon this offseason, they need more help in the secondary. The former Texas star has shone all over the secondary, including at nickel cornerback. Meanwhile, the Steelers move back and add a Day 2 pick after trading away their second-rounder for DK Metcalf.

22) Seattle Seahawks (via Chargers) – Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a sophomore-year breakout season in 2024. While the Seahawks signed Cooper Kupp, they still need help at wide receiver after moving on from DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett this offseason. Golden would be an excellent long-term replacement for Lockett in Seattle.

23) Green Bay Packers – Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Despite signing Nate Hobbs in free agency, the Packers need help at cornerback. Jaire Alexander was the subject of trade talks earlier this offseason. More importantly, he has struggled to stay healthy over the past several years.

Philadelphia Eagles receive pick 24. Minnesota Vikings receive picks 32, 96, 2026 third-rounder.

24) Philadelphia Eagles (via Vikings) – Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon

No one values their defensive linemen more than the Eagles. Therefore, don’t be surprised if Philadelphia trades up for one on draft night. Harmon would replace Milton Williams in its defensive line rotation. Meanwhile, Minnesota has an NFL-low four picks this year and is a prime trade-back candidate.

25) Houston Texans – Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

Houston made massive changes to its offensive line this offseason, replacing Laremy Tunsil with Cam Robinson at left tackle. However, Robinson is only a one-year stopgap option, leaving C.J. Stroud without a long-term blindside protector. Simmons is coming off a significant knee injury but won’t need to start until 2026.

26) Pittsburgh Steelers (via Rams) – Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Hopefully, Aaron Rodgers signs with the Steelers before the NFL Draft, allowing them to spend their first-round pick on a non-quarterback. While safety isn’t a massive need for Pittsburgh, Emmanwori would give the defense several options when setting the weekly game plan.

27) Baltimore Ravens – Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Last season, Kyle Van Noy led the Ravens with 12.5 sacks. While the veteran will return in 2025, he isn’t getting any younger. Williams needs some seasoning, but could be one of the top edge rushers in the draft class three years from now.

28) Detroit Lions – Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

Aidan Hutchinson is one of the top edge rushers in the NFL. Last year, he led the Lions with 7.5 sacks, totaling 3.5 more than any other player. Unfortunately, the superstar only played in five contests because of injury. Detroit must add someone on the other side of the defensive line early in the NFL Draft.

29) Washington Commanders – Malaki Starks, DB, Georgia

While most mock drafts have the Commanders taking an edge rusher with their first-round pick, don’t rule out a defensive back. Starks can play multiple spots in the secondary, giving Dan Quinn options with the weekly game plan. Will Harris and Quan Martin are a solid set of starting safeties, but they won’t keep Starks off the field as a rookie.

New England Patriots receive picks 30, 173. Buffalo Bills receive picks 38, 77.

30) New England Patriots (via Bills) – Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The Patriots addressed their need at left tackle by taking Will Campbell with the fourth overall pick. Now, they trade ahead of several wide receiver-needy teams at the top of the second round to secure Egbuka. The former Ohio State star could quickly become Drake Maye’s top wide receiver despite the addition of Stefon Diggs in free agency.

31) Kansas City Chiefs – Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

Kansas City signed Jaylon Moore in free agency to take over as the team’s starting left tackle. However, he is somewhat of an unknown after spending the past few years as a part-time player for the San Francisco 49ers. Conerly would give the Chiefs long-term promise at both tackle spots.

32) Minnesota Vikings (via Eagles) – Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky

Few teams were as aggressive as the Vikings in free agency, especially on defense. Minnesota kept Byron Murphy Jr. Furthermore, it added Isaiah Rodgers and Jeff Okudah in free agency. Yet, Hairston would give the Vikings an excellent long-term starting cornerback to pair with Murphy and Mekhi Blackmon.
