CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (12/22/24)

Mark Sears - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 12/22/24. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have a busy Sunday on the hardwood this week. The Diamond Head Classic tips off in Honolulu today. We have some offerings from campus venues and another border battle from a city on the border. This is a low-key, great way to spend a Sunday. It begins in Tuscaloosa with Kent State in town. We also have the border battle between Missouri and Illinois from St. Louis.

The first game of the Diamond Head is next between Oregon State and Charleston. The second game from Honolulu features Loyola-Chicago and Oakland. Georgetown takes on Seton Hall from Newark. Utah State heads out to California to play St. Mary's. We close this slate with the third game from the Diamond Head between Nebraska and Murray State. The last game between Charlotte and Hawaii was chopped off of the slate.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 12/22/24, starting at 1 p.m. EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Mark Sears, Alabama ($8.8K)

It appears that Sears' tough start is behind him. He has shot 50% or better from the floor in each of the last three games. Two of those were against Creighton and North Carolina. The third, North Dakota, might be an NCAA Tournament team. He did this feat against good competition.

Isaiah Coleman, Seton Hall ($6.8K)

Coleman has at least 15 points in four of the last five games. We're enjoying the uptick in rebounds to go with the scoring, and his defense is still the best on the team. Coleman can do a lot of damage in this price tier. He has 101.25 DraftKings points over the last three games.

AJ Smith, Charleston ($5.4K)

Smith has scored in double figures in six straight games and has at least five rebounds in four of those. The Cougars have played solid teams in that stretch (St. Joseph's, Rhode Island), so I'm not concerned with Oregon State. He's a solid value play with a higher floor.

Liutauras Lelevicius, Oregon State ($4.9K)

Lelevicius has been an efficient scorer for the Beavers, but his real value lies in rebounding and defense. He plays a lot of minutes and plays strong defense. That's about everything I want in a value play. Minutes and a defined role are important in DFS circles.

Also consider: Kasparas Jakucionis, Illinois ($9K); Mason Falslev, Utah State ($8.3K); Jayden Epps, Georgetown ($7.5K); Kymany Houinsou, Loyola-Chicago ($6.7K); DQ Cole, Oakland ($6.2K); Morgan Safford, Kent State ($5.2K); Deywilk Tavarez, Charleston ($4.9K); Houston Mallette, Alabama ($3.8K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Michael Rataj, Oregon State ($9.4K)

Rataj could have jumped ship like many others did when the Pac-12 dissolved. He stuck around where he learned the most, and he's reaping the rewards. Rataj obtained four double-doubles in the last seven games and has one of the best matchups on the slate. His ceiling is as high as anyone today.

Allen Mukeba, Oakland ($7.8K)

Mukeba's rim protection is top-notch, and he's strong on the boards. That should help keep the floor high enough against the tough defense of the Ramblers. The middle tier of forwards is weak today, but that means you can have your pick of any of them at low ownership. There is GPP leverage here.

Miles Rubin, Loyola-Chicago ($5.8K)

Rubin, like Mukeba, is a top-notch rim protector and strong on the boards. Offense is often an adventure for him, but I don't think the output between Rubin and Mukeba will be $2K worth. Rubin will match Mukeba in most stats except scoring and assists.

Alden Applewhite, Murray State ($4.2K)

Applewhite is a strong bench player for the Racers. Assuming Nebraska wins convincingly, we could see more from Applewhite in this game. Even if we don't, he's a strong enough producer in the value tier.

Also consider: Tomislav Ivisic, Illinois ($8.7K); Mitchell Saxen, St. Mary's ($8.2K); Andrew Morgan, Nebraska ($6.1K); Lazar Djokovic, Charleston ($4.8K); Derrion Reid, Alabama ($3.9K)
