WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (6/13/23): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 6/13/23. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel.

After the usual Monday off, the WNBA is back in action Tuesday night with three games on the slate. Two games open the night—Mystics/Fever and Dream/Liberty—while the Storm and Mercury end the night. While it's not the greatest night on paper, that Storm/Mercury game should be a close one, as both teams have struggled this year.

If you're looking for WNBA daily fantasy picks and some betting advice this season, then you're in the right place. I'll be here providing picks for any slate with two or more games, as well as adding a little betting advice as well.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 6/13/2023 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty)  - vs. ATL - DK: $12,200, FD: $9,300

Despite joining a team loaded with weapons, Breanna Stewart has looked like an MVP candidate with the Liberty. Everyone else might have to give up a little to play with someone of Stewart's caliber, but she's not, with the former Storm star averaging 24.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

She's scored at least 19 points in every game since the opener, when she was held to 12 points on 30% shooting. That game was also the only time this year Stewart has shot under 41.2% from the floor.

When Stewie took on the Dream back on June 9, she had 25 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and four blocks. She's currently averaging 2.1 blocks per game third-best in the league behind Brittney Griner and Ezi Magbegor.

Aliyah Boston (Indiana Fever) - vs. WAS - DK: $9,900, FD: $7,900

Boston might be a rookie, but she's already playing like she's a star veteran.

To see her this far up in advanced stats this quickly is surprising—the WNBA learning curve usually takes a bit, but Boston looks like one of the W's best centers already.

Coming into this game, Boston has a double-double in two of the last three games. She's coming off a curiously low usage game against the Mercury where she took just four shot attempts, but she did have two blocks in that game, making it three games in a row that she's swatted away multiple shots.

Michaela Onyenwere (Phoenix Mercury) - vs. SEA - DK: $5,100, FD: $5,200

The former Rookie of the Year has started all but one game this season for the Mercury, as the team has opted for her offensive contribution over Brianna Turner's defense. After a down year last season for New York, Onyenwere is averaging 7.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game to start this season while shooting a career-best 41.7% from the floor.

She's coming off her best game of the year, playing 32 minutes against the Fever and going 4-for-9 from the floor with 11 points and 12 rebounds. She was 3-for-5 from deep, marking the fourth time this season that Onyenwere has made multiple threes. The three wasn't really a strong suit for Onyenwere in New York, but she's up to 45% shooting on 2.9 attempts per game right now.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream) - @ NY - DK: $8,800, FD: $6,400

I said the other day that the Liberty backcourt defense has concerned me, which was why I recommended playing Gray against them. While she didn't explode against New York, she put up a good stat line, scoring 17 points on 6-for-14 shooting with five rebounds and one assist. The lack of assists was a little concerning, but Gray did what I thought she'd do against New York: she scored buckets.

Now, she faces the Liberty again. I'd expect a little more playmaking from Gray in this one, since the team is still suffering from injury concerns at point guard. She led the Dream in scoring in the last contests against the Libs and should continue to get a lot of usage in this one.

Natasha Cloud (Washington Mystics) - @ IND - DK: $8,600, FD: $6,500

The Fever allow the fifth-most points and third-most assists per game while allowing teams to shoot 35.5% from deep per contest, the third-highest percentage in the WNBA.

That should all set up well for Cloud, Washington's point guard. She's coming off one of her best games of the season, finishing with 19 points on 5-for-9 shooting with four rebounds and five assists in her last game. She was 4-for-6 from deep. Cloud's not a great three-point shooter, but the defense lets her shoot, and sometimes that works in her favor. Cloud also sits fourth in the WNBA in assists per game, dishing out 6.0 of them per contest.

Marine Johannes (Atlanta Dream) - vs. ATL - DK: $4,600, FD: $4,600

With Sabrina Ionescu listed as questionable for this contest, Johannes could find herself playing major minutes in the Liberty backcourt. Of course, that's dependent on Ionescu resting her hamstring injury, but this team is built to withstand that kind of injury, so I'd guess the team lets her rest to avoid worsening things.

Johannes is one of the best passers in the world:

If Ionescu's out, we'll likely see Johannes as the primary backup ball-handler to Courtney Vandersloot, giving her a chance to best her season high of three assists that she set last game.

She's also coming off a season-high 12 points in 19 minutes against Dallas, going 4-for-8 from deep. Again, if Ionescu plays then I'd be cautious with playing Johannes in DFS, but she's a huge value if she's elevated to the starting lineup, or even to the sixth-player role.
