Final 2024 First-Round NFL Mock Draft - Predictions for all 32 Teams

Rome Odunze - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Andrew Lalama's final 2024 NFL mock draft of the year. He predicts the Round 1 draft picks, and which players will be selected in the first round.

It's Christmas Eve.

The NFL Draft is my favorite day of the year, and the picks made tomorrow night will have an enormous impact on the future of the NFL. With the Chicago Bears expected to select Caleb Williams at No. 1, the real draft begins at No. 2, where the Washington Commanders' pick remains a mystery. The top 10 should be filled with offensive players, including a possible four quarterbacks and at least three wide receivers.

This mock draft aims to predict each pick in an attempt to be as accurate as possible. Keep in mind that while team needs are considered, people generally overrate that aspect when it comes to the NFL Draft. Most organizations aim to take the best player available after filling needs in free agency.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Final 2024 NFL Mock Draft- First Round

1. Chicago Bears (from CAR) - Caleb Williams - QB, USC

It's funny to think back to fans discussing this pick a few months ago, when many people thought it was a possibility the Bears would keep Justin Fields and pass on Caleb Williams. Taking one of the best QB prospects since Andrew Luck was always a no-brainer. You can read my full film breakdown of Williams in the X post below.

2. Washington Commanders - Jayden Daniels - QB, LSU

The Commanders could easily take Drake Maye here, but the buzz is all about Jayden Daniels. You can read my full film breakdown of Daniels in the X post below.

3. New England Patriots - Drake Maye - QB, North Carolina

The Patriots may entertain trade offers, and Minnesota has enough capital to complete a deal. In the end, I think the Patriots use a top-three pick as an opportunity to restart with a fresh new coach and rookie quarterback. You can read my full film breakdown of Drake Maye in the X post below.

4. Arizona Cardinals - Marvin Harrison Jr. - WR, Ohio State

The Cardinals are commonly mocked to trade out of this spot, but that doesn't make any sense to me. They have a huge need at wide receiver and the opportunity to sit tight and grab their top-ranked guy in a loaded receiver class. In this projection, Marvin Harrison Jr. steps in as Kyler Murray's WR1 as a rookie. You can read my full film breakdown of Harrison in the X post below.

5. Los Angeles Chargers - Rome Odunze - WR, Washington

The Chargers could take an offensive lineman or trade down, but adding a blue chip WR for Justin Herbert makes too much sense at this spot.

6. New York Giants - Malik Nabers - WR, LSU

The Giants are rumored to covet Drake Maye. If they stay put, one of the top three WRs is a slam dunk.

7. Tennessee Titans - Joe Alt - OT, Michigan

The Titans have a huge hole at LT and Joe Alt is a tremendous prospect. He has All-Pro potential.

8. Atlanta Falcons - Byron Murphy II - DT, Texas

The Falcons could consider an edge-rusher here, but in this projection they take the top interior defensive lineman in the draft in Byron Murphy.

TRADE!

9. New Orleans Saints f/Chicago Bears - Olu Fashanu - OT, Penn State

The Bears move down to get more picks while the Saints move up to secure their franchise LT. Olu Fashanu has uncommon athleticism for a tackle.

10. New York Jets - Taliese Fuaga - OL, Oregon State

The Jets will likely consider Brock Bowers or a wide receiver here, but Taliese Fuaga makes a ton of sense as well. Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses are older and often injured, and Fuaga has the skills to play both guard and tackle. His film is excellent.

11. Minnesota Vikings - J.J. McCarthy - QB, Michigan

The Vikings may trade up into the top five for a quarterback, but I think they've positioned themselves to take a QB in the second tier. Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix will likely be available at No. 23, so I think it's possible the Vikings are comfortable with waiting if a trade doesn't work out. In this projection, J.J. McCarthy slips to No. 11, where the Vikings happily scoop him up.

12. Denver Broncos - Brock Bowers - TE, Georgia

The Broncos will likely select a QB at some point, but in this projection, they wait until later. If Brock Bowers is available, he makes sense as an explosive offensive weapon for Sean Payton.

13. Las Vegas Raiders - JC Latham - OT, Alabama

The Raiders have a need at right tackle and JC Latham is an enormous road-grating force.

14. Chicago Bears f/New Orleans Saints - Dallas Turner - EDGE, Alabama

The Bears would do well to trade down and still address a huge need with the top edge player in the class in Alabama's Dallas Turner.

15. Indianapolis Colts - Quinyon Mitchell - CB, Toledo

The Colts will likely consider a receiver here, but with so many good ones expected to be available on Day 2, taking one of the top-three corners makes sense. Quinyon Mitchell has a case for the best defensive prospect in this class.

TRADE!

16. Philadelphia Eagles f/Seattle Seahawks - Terrion Arnold - CB, Alabama

The Seahawks are always a wild card on draft night and GM John Schneider loves to trade down. In this projection, they gain extra draft capital while the Eagles move up and secure a starting caliber corner.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Brian Thomas Jr. - WR, LSU

The Jaguars lost Calvin Ridley to free agency and now have a need at WR. BrIan Thomas Jr. has a ton of upside and was a huge reason for Jayden Daniels' emergence. Thomas is big, fast, and strong with great hands and body control.

18. Cincinnati Bengals - Amarius Mims - OT, Georgia

Protecting Joe Burrow has been a priority since he was drafted, so expect the Bengals to address the offensive line at some point. In this projection, they use their first-rounder on Georgia's Amarius Mims, who stands 6-foot-8 and weighs 340 pounds. He'd be a wall on the right side of Cincy's offensive line.

19. Los Angeles Rams - Tyler Guyton - OT, Oklahoma

The Rams struck gold with Puka Nacua last year, but they still may be in the market for a wide receiver at this spot. They also need help at tackle, where Tyler Guyton offers a lot of upside.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers - Xavier Worthy - WR, Texas

The Steelers traded Diontae Johnson to the Panthers and now need a WR. Xavier Worthy broke the record for the fastest 40 in the history of the NFL Combine and would be an exciting deep threat for Justin Fields and Russell Wilson.

21. Miami Dolphins - Jared Verse - EDGE, Florida State

With needs all over the roster, the Dolphins could take almost any position on draft night. In this projection, they take a falling Jared Verse, who may be in consideration as high as No. 8. Verse has a great get-off and awesome play strength. He can be an impact pass-rusher at the next level.

TRADE!

22. Las Vegas Raiders f/ Seattle Seahawks t/Philadelphia Eagles - Michael Penix Jr. - QB, Washington

In this projection, the Seahawks trade down again, this time all the way out of the first round. The Raiders move up to get their guy in Washington's Michael Penix Jr.

23. Minnesota Vikings (from CLE through HOU) - Jer'Zhan Newton - DT, Illinois

This pick could easily be Michael Penix Jr. or Bo Nix if the Vikings don't take a QB earlier. In this projection, they add Jer'Zhan Newton, an explosive interior defensive lineman from Illinois. Newton can play the run and rush the passer from the inside.

24. Dallas Cowboys - Laiatu Latu - EDGE, UCLA

The Cowboys need a running back, but this is far too early to consider one here. Laiatu Latu represents a value as a skilled pass- rusher. He has some injury concerns but can be a menace if he stays healthy.

25. Green Bay Packers - Troy Fautanu - OL, Washington

The Packers need help along the offensive line and Troy Fautanu represents a nice value if he's available at No. 25.

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Graham Barton - OL, Duke

The Bucs could use a center and Graham Barton is the best center prospect in this class.

27. Arizona Cardinals (from HOU) - Darius Robinson - EDGE, Missouri

Arizona traded away the chance to add Will Anderson last year and need help on defense. Darius Robinson has been generating buzz as an athletic edge rusher.

28. Buffalo Bills - Adonai Mitchell - WR, Texas

The Bills need a WR and Adonai Mitchell flashes all the skills teams look for in an outside alpha.

TRADE!

29. Washington Commaders f/Detroit Lions - Jordan Morgan - OT, Arizona

The Commanders are rumored to be interested in moving up for a tackle late in the first round. Jordan Morgan makes sense.

30. Baltimore Ravens - Cooper DeJean - DB, Iowa

Cooper DeJean screams Raven. He's tough and versatile and could play both inside and outside for Baltimore.

TRADE!

31. Denver Broncos f/San Francisco 49ers - Bo Nix - QB, Oregon

In this projection, the 49ers move down for more picks while the Broncos move up to get Sean Payton's next franchise QB in Oregon's Bo Nix.

32. Kansas City Chiefs - Ja'Lynn Polk - WR, Washington

The Chiefs need help at WR and could easily wait until the later rounds tot take multiple shots in a loaded class. If they stay at No. 32, Ja'Lynn Polk is a name generating buzz lately. He's a smooth route-runner with great hands.
