Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani (elbow) took the mound for a live batting practice session on Sunday. Ohtani threw 23 pitches and reportedly touched 97 mph on his fastball. The right-hander recorded a pair of strikeouts, walked a batter, and gave up a double to Hyeseong Kim on Sunday. This is an encouraging outing from Ohtani, but there is still more work to do. There is still no timetable for his return to the mound, but the assumption is that Ohtani should be able to contribute at some point in the second half of the season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
